
This is the newest Starbucks in the Winter Haven area. As such they still have some growing pains to get through. They are slow. Their cleaning routine isn't on point. The trash cans are usually stuffed to overflowing. When they fill the napkin dispensers they overstuff so tightly you have to pull several out in shreds before you actually get a while napkin. Which is compounded by the thinner napkins Starbucks seems to have moved to.
As Starbucks go this one is a decent size. Ir had one long community/ study table with power ports and USB and a bunch of 2 and 4 person tables and maybe 1 or 2 round 6 person tables if I remember correctly. To round out the inside there are 4 lounge chairs and some "dots" along with several small tables in one corner. The "dots" can be used like ottomans or for seating if needed. Additionally they have a rande if seating outside for those comfortable in the heat.
With the plentiful seating one might expect this to be a great road warrior office, but if you need to do much on the internet bring your own hotspot. Like many Starbucks I've visited in the past couple years, the internet speeds are so ridiculously slow that downloading a white paper takes an hour, whereas hotspotting off my phone it takes 25 seconds. Read moreI called corporate today on this location. I was a regular at this location. I order a caramel ribbon crunch medium with extra shot of expresso. I get to the window the guy scan my gift card then pass me my drink with a receipt. Gave me a small caramel ribbon crunch. I look at the recipet it said extra ice. They did not make what I asked for. The guy cashier said we didn't charge you for a medium. That's not the point I asked for a medium star ribbon crunch with a shot of express. I ask to speak to a manager. Another worker was a girl whp came to the window trying to tell me. What I order she the one who messed up my order. I asked Again where is the manager. Then the guy walks off to get the manager the girl who messed up my order was talking about me to another employee like I couldn't hear her. I heard everything she said. The girl name savannah comes to the window. I ask are you the manager she said yes. I told her everything about my order being wrong in her employee talking about me to another employee. Even the manager wasn’t very friendly she did resolve matter but the whole ordeal made us feel very uncomfortable, so unnecessary. Not the Starbucks way, unlike the other hundreds of other Starbucks we have been to, never been given an issue.
