Cheesecake Heaven Cafe & Bakery — Restaurant in Wisconsin Dells

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My family and I were in Wisconsin for the weekend and on the way home we decided to stop in the Dells. I really wanted a funnel cake and I had gone to Cheesecake Heaven before to get one so we decided to stop there. Our initial experience at the counter while ordering the funnel cake sundae was great. We ordered vanilla ice cream, strawberry topping and chocolate syrup and when we received our food we were confused. We expected a liquid syrup with strawberries within it, so I took it up to the front and was met with the manager, "chris" or "charlie" whatever her name is (she gave multiple names). I asked if we could get a new funnel cake because we weren't satisfied with the product and she said "no, I already made that one for you". I relayed the massage to my best friends mom and my aunt and they decided to go back up to the counter to try and convince her to give us a new funnel cake; we would just scrape our ice cream onto the fresh funnel cake, we just didn't want the strawberry topping. She once again said no and proceeded to add a DIFFERENT COLOR strawberry topping on top of the old one and said "thats all I can do". I used to work at Dairy Queen and my best friend currently works at Dunkin Donuts and so we both know that if a customer is not satisfied with something that is made, you remake it. We were so disappointed in the service so we went up to ask for a refund and she refused that as well. We then thought to ask for the manager because we figured that the manager would be more understanding and she then responded that she was the manager. I am never one to make a scene or to blow up a situation but when I pay nearly $11 for something and don't eat it but am still out of the money, it is very frustrating. I read the other reviews on this location before typing this and I saw MULTIPLE reviews similarly describing the situation I experienced which means that nothing is being done about the issue. I apologize about the harsh review but the manager at the Wisconsin Dells location NEEDS to be fired because if not, this location will eventually go out of business simply due to her rudeness to...

Cheesecake Heaven Cafe & Bakery made for a great little stop while we were out walking around town in the evening. It was one of those nights where the heat had me craving something cold, and a chocolate malt sounded like the perfect fix. I ordered one, and it hit the spot right away. Thick, creamy, and full of chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. It was exactly the kind of treat I was hoping for.

Even though I only grabbed the malt, the display cases were packed with cheesecakes and other baked goods that looked really tempting. Everything from slices to whole cakes sat neatly lined up, and you could tell a lot of effort went into presentation. If we had more time or bigger appetites, I could easily see myself trying a slice or two.

The cafe itself had a fun, inviting vibe. Bright enough to feel lively but still cozy enough to hang out in for a bit. It didn’t feel rushed, and the staff was friendly, which made the stop that much better. For me, it was a quick in-and-out treat, but the kind of place where you could also linger over dessert with coffee.

Wow is all I can say for the level of disappointment in this place.I have been to the one in Green bay and it is amazing and delicious. We make it a point to have lunch there everytime in green bay everything is great the place is clean and well run. This one however could not be more of the opposite it is dirty the glass cases are empty the staff is untrained and just flat out bad. We were one of two couples in this place and it took 30 minutes to get two sandwiches. Our paninis if you can call them that were not toasted at all the ingredients were just thrown on some bread cover in a disgusting amount of sauce and smooshed in a box. We both took one bite of each sandwich and had to throw it out a complete waste of 27 dollars. You would think for having a couple stores they would want to have the same experience at all locations but it could not be much worse at this one.
