This was my first (and last) time going here. Unfortunately my experience was pretty awful. I ordered online (clearly my first mistake) for ASAP which said 15 minutes. Got there slightly after the time it said it was going to be ready since I went at a busy time so wanted to give some room to ensure it was ready when I got there. I got there and greeted with immediately zero acknowledgment. I see my coffees that I ordered sitting there but had to wait at the register for a good 5 minutes before someone finally came to us. Asked if my order was ready and young girl told me it was not ready and would be 10 minutes. I’m thinking “okay totally fine I can wait 10 more minutes” so I move out of the way and waited for them to finish my order. 15 minutes go by and I still haven’t heard anything and I still see my coffee and it has been sitting there for a good 20 minutes so I would like to have it at least while I wait. So I ask a different lady “hey I was told my order would be ready in 10 minutes and that was almost 20 minutes ago so is it ready?” This lady rolled her eyes and gave me attitude saying no it’s not ready so I ask when it will be ready since I have been waiting longer than I should be. She gave me a blank stare and said uh yes then she just walked away. Here I am still waiting another 10 minutes for my order and I while I am waiting I see these two young girls touching screens, staplers, counters, then go to TOUCH THE FOOD, with the same pair of gloves. These same girls are whispering and looking back at me rolling their eyes. At this point I’m astonished by the sanitary conditions, service, and overall atmosphere of the place I want to cancel my order. Mind you, my coffee is still sitting there for probably 35 minutes at this point getting watered down. I can’t even find someone to acknowledge me to cancel and refund my order. Finally I got my order after 45 minutes of waiting around. At this point all of the ice was melted in my latte, I don’t even want to eat the food know how it is being prepared and touched. I take the food and try the coffee and it tasted burnt and very watered down and not even like hazelnut like I ordered, the crepe I ordered wasn’t fully cooked and very soggy. Overall very disappointed with my experience and will not be coming back here and will make sure to share my experience with others to avoid this place at all cost. Very disappointed for spending...
Read moreWhat can I say it's unique, and very cute inside , there was no problem getting food , finding a table . I got here around 11 am. I got the omelette , and Nutella -banana crepe . Very good just enough of everything . The difference between the two different crepe places in Woodbury is the Sweet Paris has more variety of things and the other is basically just crepes and waffles. Both very hearty. What othere people r saying bad, they have there heads in the clouds. Prices, sure ur going to pay for it, it's just that way now. But who goes out to eat everyday ? I think Eating out is luxury make the most of it . Who wants to cook three meals a day. I'm single , my son is grown so it's my little luxury to myself once In Awhile. I love Woodbury, and I'm just an average gal living life and food come what may . U can't take ur money with u when u leave this earth. So burn what u earn ,lol . The manager gal walking around very pleasant and informed. Attentive ! Will come back !!! So it's Fat Tuesday 2025 today the drinks r 2.00 til 9pm tonight March 4 2025 , they r the bomb , it's a savings of 10.00 today . Today was 8-15-2025 I had stopped in around 10:46 roughly, I ordered one crepe to go, it cost 18.00,??!!! Waited a half hour , the one guy working was making crepes, busing tables , and God knows what ! The younger kid was bringing out food when done , another girl making crepes , then she screwed around alot taking her good old time, the cashier girl was fab!!!! U need more people at basically lunch time!!!! Way to expensive for one crepe, way too long to wait for one item , the younger kid could have been busing tables while waiting to serve food ,so the other two could stay on top of making crepes, other people complained how they had to keep getting there own condiments , part of there order they never got . Hire people !!!!!! Lots of retired people looking for something to do🤔. I could have gotten a real good meal at Texas Road House for 18.00 come on, I'm never going there again. Get it together?! What happened to this place. A bit disappointed , I barely made it to my nail appointment . Another thing u went from plastic take out bags to paper ?🤔, really cause if the take out cardboard container leakes then the bag will too, so u went cheaper on products and higher on prices...
Read moreGreat food, terrible employees.
On Sunday, August 31st, around 12:30 pm, we waited in a line for a long time until our order was taken. Soon after we ordered, we found out that they were completely out of clean forks and knives, but there simply is no other way to eat crêpes!
Some tables who ordered after us were served before us. While we waited for our food, they were bringing the wrong items to some tables, which is hard to understand because the order is taken with digital electronics and the customers have numbered tags displayed on the tables.
This restaurant has been open for more than a year, so these operational hurdles should have been worked out long ago.
They decided to give us a free dessert. Instead of saying, "Please have a dessert on the house; what would you like?", someone who appeared to be in a managerial role brought us one particular dessert, not telling us what it was. It had Nutella, which is made from hazelnuts, something that one of us at the table is allergic to. Luckily, we realized this before he tasted it, and he avoided a trip to the hospital.
While bringing the dessert to the table, the young lady used the word hangry to describe another person at our table who had earlier calmly, but firmly, explained that the items brought to the table were not what we had ordered. He wasn't vulgar at all, at any point, just emphatic. The young lady also used the word distress, which is totally inappropriate at a leisurely Sunday lunch among friends. Also, one of the sharing plates that she brought for that dessert was dirty, with vegetable matter on it.
Another negative is that customers decide the tip when ordering. When I ordered, I didn't know that all these bad things were going to happen, because they hadn't happened yet. So I tipped 20%, as I do almost everywhere. On this visit, the staff deserved 10% or less.
While the food was excellent, the service was so poor that I will not return. (This review was written based on notes jotted down shortly after...
