QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Woodbury

On 8/7/ 2021, I called the store around 9:30PM and asked, "What time do you guys close?" A male informed me, "11:00PM." I arrived at the store around 10:20pm. Immediately I was asked, "are you picking-up?" I said, "No, I'm ordering." The same lady then said, "We are only fulfilling online orders. But I don't see why it would be a problem." The manager then stepped in and asked, "What's going on?" I repeated, "I called over an hour ago to confirm closure time for the store. The gentleman that I spoke to never mentioned that yall were not fulfilling in-store orders." The manager replied, "We have been busy and we are only fulfilling on-line orders." I asked, "When did the policy change to only on-line orders?" She replied, "this is something we are only doing now." She refused to give me the store manager info. She just said, "call back during the week and ask for Chris." This manager was unprofessional and disrespectful. She refused me service, abused her power of authority, and was inconsiderate of the time I wasted traveling to her store when 1 of her employees gave me incorrect information. Furthermore, closing the store down to only fulfill online orders when there is no policy and denying a customer service is bad business and bad customer service. As I was rudely denied service, I had to wonder was there an ulterior motive to her denying me service. I would honestly like to see this young lady demoted or fired. Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered tonight for delivery, estimated time was 35 min. I tracked my order on-line but there appeared to be no progress. I called the store when it was 10 min late to get an update. Was told that it had left the store and was on the way. A half hour later we were still waiting so I drove to the store. There were signs on the door that they were out of items, I walk in and there were people waiting everywhere. When I finally got a chance to speak to an employee, she went looking for the order and said they didn't have it. I told her they certainly did. She went and got the manager, so I explained the issue again and finally another employee spoke out and said he just sent out the order. Manager asked what I wanted her to do since the order had left, I asked what can you do. She said she would refund my money (I will be checking my credit card to make sure). Get home and delivery driver was just leaving. We opened the food and the disaster continued. Ordered three hard shell tacos with ground beef. They were ice cold and absolutely no beef, nor much of anything else. They went right to the garbage. The nacho mixture was also ice cold but was able to heat it up. The quesadilla was slightly warm. My wife and I love eating at Qdoba. Tonight that wasn't the case. We went in at 6:30 pm to grab dinner after some shopping. We walked up to the line to place our order. We both ordered burritos having to make many compromises as to what we wanted on the burritos because they were out of most everything or had only enough left for one of us. They were out of pico, cilantro,sour cream, salsa, pretty bare bones. On top of that they were really slow and dirty. The assembly line was ransacked. Remnants of every topping all over the place. The prep area behind the line had stuff chopped up and empty containers all over it and the employees were less than capable of producing a successfully wrapped burrito after their third try to wrap my very small burrito, we decided that this experience didn't deserve our money. Worst experience we have had at a Qdoba ever. We were the only ones in the store too. They weren't busy and it looked like a bomb went off. Cleanliness was not a concern tonight I guess. Im dissapointed really, I was looking forward to the fantastic flavor of that steak burrito. We ended up going to chipolte and they had all their ducks in a row. May be back, not sure.
