Horrible experience each and every time I visit this location. I try and convince myself that the things that I notice are isolated incidents, but they are not.
My wife decided to do a little grocery shopping at the Whole Foods next door so I being the typical ear everything but none type of person decide to kill time at NordstromRack.
As soon as I walked in eyes were on me I checked the mirror to see if I spilled the soy sauce from the sushi we ate earlier in my shirt. Nope. I didn’t want to goto the obvious that many have been subject to that look like me. Black male black jacket = high probably according to corp that he may steal.
I reassured myself this isn’t the case and continued to wonder in the mens section for a New Years Eve outfit. I literally passed 4 store employees and not one person 1. Greeted me 2. Asked if I needed help 3. Or even make small talk but yet everytime I picked up an item I can see employees watching my every move! What in the hell!!
I asked the located a young man near the front to ask him where the laptop bags were but he and the other employees were too occupied to help as they were watching another black guy walk into the store.
Immediately proceeded to leave the store not until I saw mens cologne and took a look as I did I saw each employee at the register give me the death stare every time I picked up an item.

She looked up the receipt that I had on my phone and she offered in exchange. Read moreExcellent Customer Service; my return was a piece of cake!! At this particular visit, I had a return of over $315 worth of various items. When I first walked inside and over to the checkout line, I didn’t even have to wait 30 seconds. The man at the register had a big smile on his face while he greeted me. From start to finish, he was a total gentleman, perfectly respectful and very kind. The return process itself was the absolute quickest and easiest I’ve EVER experienced, and I didn’t even have to get out my credit card or anything!! I was in and out in less than 3 minutes!! This man could write the book on customer service. (I think we can all agree that there has been a decline in proper customer service as it has deteriorated over the past few years).
