MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Woodinville

One of the strangest visits to a Mod pizza. Food was ok, mostly what is expected. I would say we both agreed the sauce or dough was bland, overall bland despite the ingredients were there. Not anyone's fault, probably Mods ingredient sourcing? So I struggle to say this, but there is so much room for improvement as far as cleanliness: first impression: clean the oily handprints covering front doors throughout the day, clean the glass food covering throughout the day, keep your working area clean for the next guest's food, clean the restrooms, owner repair the restrooms, install a new door handle on the restroom, clean the tabletops (instead of brushing debris off). Clean trash & food off the floor from the previous messy careless guests (come on folks clean up after yourself & kids). The crew did ok, thier body language tells me they don't want to be there, or they don't like eachother, they can't work as a team, this contibuted to an off atmosphere. Customer service is a rough job at times, I get it, ive been there for years. Enthusiasm, cheerfulness, a smile, greetings, a freindly attitude...anything...goes a really long way to help this. Good leadership can make it a lot better. Cleanliness though....I've been in cleaner high school cafeterias. Also. No upbeat music, silent. The dining area was really cold, and I like it cold, but it was too cold, we both had to wear coats, family across from us said the same thing, really cold. Maybe the crew runs hot from the oven, so they cranked AC? Unfortunately we both agreed we wouldn't go back, every other time I went to a Mod Pizza in other locations it was a great time. I created my own pizza AND created my own salad for today’s Door Dash delivery and I was wonderfully surprised!!

Started off the pizza with a pesto base, garlic rub and olive oil, then LOADED it with chopped garlic, fresh basil, chicken, mushrooms, artichokes, black olives, plant-based Italian sausage, roasted garlic, anchovies, Parmesan cheese, Feta cheese, topped with a Pesto drizzle!! THIS pizza was the BOMB‼️🙌🏼💯🍕🎉🎂

I also created my own salad: Romaine lettuce, mixed greens, chopped garlic, basil, Greek herb & Tahini dressing, Parmesan cheese, feta, Gorgonzola cheese, chicken, mushrooms, black olives, artichokes (yumm!!), roasted peppers, roasted broccoli, roasted garlic, chickpeas, diced tomatoes, anchovies, fresh rosemary and oregano.

Simply scrumptious and brilliantly delicious!! 😋😋😋

Update: July 5, 2022 Another scrumptious pizza I created and ordered via GrubHub (photo below): cauliflower pizza crust, garlic rub, artichokes, roasted broccoli, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, diced tomatoes, mushrooms, black olives, grilled chicken, anchovies, spinach, oregano, finishing sauce: pesto drizzle. Delectable!! 😋

Update July 6, 2022: Ordered via Door Dash another customized pizza: cauliflower crust pizza with pesto sauce, topped with mushrooms, black olives, artichokes, diced tomatoes, roasted broccoli, roasted red peppers, oregano, fresh basil, anchovies, fresh rosemary, arugula, olive oil, chopped garlic, roasted garlic, plant-based Italian sausage, chicken, finishing sauce: Pesto Drizzle. Absolutely...

I enjoyed my visit to MOD Pizza. I had never visited but had heard good things. The Woodinville location is pretty large with a lot of seating. When I visited at around 9pm there were only a few groups. I was surprised though that it got really busy a little bit after we arrived. I would say it was maybe half full by the time we left. The staff were helpful and patient. The staff seemed to have a good camaraderie going and were overall easy going. I was impressed with the different options available for pizza. I ended up going with the Tristan but adding sausage, corn, and broccoli. The MOD size pizza was definitely a generous portion. I ended up eating 2/3rd of the pizza and saving the rest for the next day. The pizza came out piping hot and tasted great. All the components were high-quality and fresh. MOD is definitely a step up from other chains. I also tried my partner’s pizza with non-dairy cheese, chicken BBQ sauce, artichoke hearts, and Mama’s lil peppers. It was really good especially considering the non-dairy cheese. I also had the seasonal blueberry milkshake and it was creamy and not too sweet. I came away impressed and would happily go...
