We were very excited to visit this place for dinner as they had hot pots advertised online and in the restaurant. Once we were seated and glanced over the menu, we noticed that the hot pots were not on the menu but they advertised the hot pots in the restaurant. We waited 15-20 minutes before we had to ask for someone to please come take our order. I asked the waitress who requested our drink options if they had hot pots and she said no. I had mentioned that they were advertised online and on the sign behind her and her response was that they were not serving them at this time because it was busy. We were very disappointed to know that we could not order what we came for. So we look over the menu and order something else. I personally ordered a small coconut chicken soup and a spicy tuna roll. When the food arrived, i noticed that the entree portions were about 2-3 servings large. The soup was alright but I had noticed that my sushi roll rice was either not cooked properly or had been sitting in a refrigerator unwrapped for too long. The edges of the rice pieces were hard and unenjoyable to eat. At one point, we had asked for a refill on the hot tea and Instead we were refilled with water. Which I might add was spilled all over one of my guests with a quick an empty apology. She never cleaned up the water that was spilled. We also never received our hot tea refill. I would also like to add that no one was monitoring the space capacity or the social distancing inside the restaurant. People were practically body to body just standing around waiting for their take out orders, crowding the tables that were dining in. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant as the food was mediocre at best, the service was terrible, and the space did not feel safe during this...
Read moreI had a family member and her friend go into this place for lunch on 1/3/25 and my family member was treated awfully. The waitress was disgusting, rude, unprofessional, and for a lack of better professionalism bitchy. Although she doesn’t speak english well, that is NOT an excuse to treat someone with such disgraceful attitude. Poor people make poor waiters. The head chef even came out to apologize for the waitresses attitude. If other employees at a business are acknowledging how appalling their co workers behavior is/how they treat customers; then it needs to be taken care of (this specific waitress has worked here for quite a while and always kept this attitude). Not only was the waitress part of the bad experience but her mixing up food and continuously getting the food orders wrong for the duration of the time my family member and her friend were at the restaurant for lunch. Almost all the food orders came out wrong and the waitress had taken food OFF the table to “take it back” AFTER it had already been placed on the table, which is rude in itself. My family member is gluten free: gluten effect’s her quite negatively. Mixing up food, not labeling food, setting random food on the table, taking it off, not answering questions about the food being set down on the table, is absolutely unbelievable. It’s especially upsetting that this waitress said that they “didn’t have gluten free food” when there is 100% gluten free food at this business. This is the epitome of unprofessional business. It needs...
Read moreI’ve always loved this place and the sushi is fantastic. However, tonight I was extremely uncomfortable while ordering take out. The younger girl looked aggravated that I was even there and was rude while taking my order. She rolled her eyes when I asked a question about a certain roll and flicked her hands up out of aggravation while ordering. I also received several dirty looks while waiting for my order. Not to mention, the last two times I’ve ordered take out this past week my order was more money than the past. I asked if the menu prices were correct and she again rolled her eyes and said yes. When the girl from the kitchen placed my order on the counter, she also placed a different receipt than the one I was given by paying with my credit card. There was $3 extra hand written on the receipt which added up to the extra charge I was wondering about. Last visit I did not see this other receipt and left a tip. Nothing was said to me about an added charge that was hand written so I don’t know if that was a tip charge or not. If so, they get double tipped if you don’t see this other receipt and end up tipping on a to go order as they don’t tell you anything. With the attitude of the girl and the added charge that I still don’t know what it’s for... I won’t be going back. Shame because the sushi is great, but there are also several other new restaurants that have opened in the area that I will now spend my hard...
