Ute Lodge Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Woodland Park

So, my husband and I are long time Woodland Parkers…..used to go the old Ute. The Ute Lodge Bar and Grill has done a beautiful job of renovating and has a very comfortable atmosphere. Here’s my beef: the last two times we were there we ordered perfect margaritas. Each were $12. Tonight we went again for a margarita and when we got the bill they charged $24 each for a 12 oz.margarita!! What?? They used Casa Amigos, a good tequila and the cheapest triple sec Juarez . The manager did take one off our bill which was nice but come on! Put a price on the menu so people know! As my husband said…”look at this face cause you’re never going to...

Update. Have to take a star away due to food quality, it is just average at best. Chicken fried chicken was extremely small and seemed like a frozen cutlet. The bar area is relaxing and perfect for a pre or post dinner drink. Or what the heck pre and post. Dinner menu is perfect. Have been there when they have run out of certain items. To me this is a mark of a great restaurant. When you serve real food and fresh food you will sometimes run out of items. Overall it is a great addition to Woodland Park and we look forward to many great nights...

The wait staff was very accommodating. We needed to dine outdoors due to several reasons, and, even though the patio was closed, they were happy to seat us there. They offered to bring a bowl of water for our dog and even brought him a hamburger patty.
