Pizza Boli's — Restaurant in Woodlawn

I love Pizza Boli's pizza, but only when it's made right. It seems every time I order delivery, the pizza is either made wrong BUT I get the garlic sauce, or the pizza is made right BUT they forget the garlic sauce (and I'm waiting for them to return with it in order to eat because I don't eat pizza without garlic sauce). Tonight, it was the first one.

I'm not sure if it's a language barrier over the phone (for example, one time I ordered a pizza with extra sausage and got it with extra sauce instead...so from that moment on, I remind myself to say ITALIAN sausage) but I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, extra sausage and onions and was quoted 19.40 something. The driver gets here and tells me it's $21 and some change. So after telling him what I was told over the phone, he goes "oh, it's taxes" which I'm thinking to myself "that should have already been added when he told me the total over the phone" but I leave it alone and give him $21 exactly which was originally going to be his tip (and I even offered to go get the change but he said it was ok and left 7 cent short).

So as soon as I get in the kitchen, I read the receipt on the side and find out they added tomatoes to my pizza...so THATS where that additional price came from. And my mother goes "call them back" but I decide not to because I'd rather have a pizza made right with one wrong topping and the garlic sauce vs a pizza missing 2 toppings and no garlic sauce. So we left it alone.

Needless to say, their food is great...I love it. And although I didn't order tomatoes, everything else was right. So that's why I gave them 3 stars but it would be nice to for once get the pizza you ordered and with the garlic sauce, lol. No lie, I have to remind them not to forget every time I...

DO NOT TRUST THIS STAFF TO MAKE YOUR FOOD! Go to a different location.

These guys did a terrible job making a pizza for me. I spent a little extra money to add 3 toppings, beef, jalapeños, and extra cheese to my pizza. They put plenty of jalapeños all over the place, but placed beef on like 4 corners of 4 slices, and the rest had no beef.

After eating 2 slices with no beef at all, I tried calling the manager to resolve the issue, they took offense because to them, the toppings don't need to be distributed reasonable and with enough quantity.

The person I spoke to was in the kitchen, they told me they were putting me on with the manager, turned out to be another associate pretending to be a manager, they passed the phone around four times, with each person pretending to be a manager until I called them out on it.

The last person told me that the manager was going to call me right back. The "Manager" never called. This is a terrible store because the staff is terrible. Don't trust these people to make your food.

This was a very simple matter that, if handled correctly would have been resolved, but the employees at this store...

I do enjoy their pizza and chicken wings. I definitely love the mild chicken wings, those I definitely recommend.

But for God's sake please don't go for their pastas. I ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and right from the moment I saw it I knew it wasn't going to go good.

The sauce of the pasta was very soupy, it looked like pasta soup then pasta sauce. Pasta sauces should be thick and full of flavor but this was almost like water.

It tasted okay, but it could have been better since the price of it was high and I expected better of it. I am almost 100% sure that the pasta and the pasta sauce was not homemade and if it was then they need to go back at basic pasta cooking lessons.

And what happened the very next day, the smell of it wasn't even good anymore. Even when it was kept in the refrigerator throughout the night once I opened it back up it's just the smell of it I just couldn't take it anymore I just threw it away.

For the love of God and for the love of your stomach and digestive system, please don't torture yourself with...
