The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Woodstock

My family placed an order for a whole Turkey for Thanksgiving. We were told over the phone that our order is guaranteed and that payment is not necessary until pick-up. We arrived first thing in the morning on the 26 to pick up the order. Unfortunately, we were told that what we had ordered is out of stock. We provided the confirmation # and order name, and are told that our order was not guaranteed because it was not prepaid. This was surprising because multiple times when I called I asked if payment over-the-phone was necessary and whether our order was guaranteed. I was assured that payment can be made at pickup and that my order is guaranteed. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was told that “This happens every year.” Seems like it can easily be avoided by clearly communicating with customers. Incredibly frustrating given that we have family visiting from out of the country and had made specific plans that have now fallen through. I will not return...

My company had given me some gift cards for Honey Baked Ham, and I sat on that card for a year. Finally, this past weekend, I decided that it was time to throw down and have a feast!

In secret, my girlfriend and I ordered a bountiful feast that we would bring to a small get-together with a group of our friends. After choosing a Ham, and some amazing sides, we locked it in and waited for the day.

Finally, when the day arrived, everything went smoothly. We had payed online, so I simply walked into the store and proceeded with pickup. Fast and easy. Once we got to my friends house, we ate like royalty! The food was all ready to eat after some time in the oven, and everything was fantastic.

I went to this location last week and the staff have nasty attitudes. I ordered ham classic sandwich, a chicken salad sandwich, and chips. The ham was brown, old, smelled spoiled, and the tuna wasn’t put on grain bread. I also told them that their jalapeño chips in the basket were expired and they didn’t even take them out of the basket. They are selling old spoiled meat, and expired potato chips to customers which is unacceptable! When I asked for my money back the dark skinned girl with the nappy ponytail got an attitude with me.
