I don’t typically believe in writing bad reviews based on an isolated incident especially because I work in the industry. In this instance I feel it is warranted. I went to the Beer Garden the first night it opened. The service was fine and my overall experience was fine. It was upon closing my tab out that things started to go badly. Again, it was the first night of opening so I tried to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
I waited a long time to close my tab with a friend. She closed her tab easily but mine seemed nowhere to be found. The bartender kept asking me other people’s names as if it was my own and after fifteen minutes, eventually listened to me and pulled my card and just typed the charges in. When I mentioned that one of my friend’s drinks on my tab was prosecco he asked if it is vodka. 😐
Two days later I noticed three separate charges authorized on my account and waited a few days thinking they would go away. They did not. I called and spoke with Jim who reviewed and realized other people’s tabs were closed to my card. How that happened is beyond me but again mistakes happen. A week later there is no refund on my card and I finally speak with another manager, Ken, after calling three times to be told he is off site and to call back. Now I am continuously “following up” to ensure this is taken care of because Jim apparently washed his hands of the situation after we spoke and the accounting department somehow can’t find the charges.
I am a pretty patient and understanding person but the fact that I am repeatedly calling to ensure this gets resolved is absurd.Everyone has been pleasant on the phone but I am told daily that I will get follow up and then I am the one who calls back at the end of each day. I was offered a gift card on my last phone call for when this eventually gets resolved (after my third day in a row of trying to figure out what they are doing and losing my patience) and I turned it down because at this point I just want my money back. I definitely won’t set foot in this place again and many of my co-workers and friends are shocked at the lack of professionalism in this scenario.
Hoping things get better there with time and they don’t continue to close random tabs to other people’s cards at their convenience! Maybe this was an isolated incident but their customer service in resolving issues has no...

The Beer Garden offers a fantastic outdoor setting that is both lively and relaxing. The decor is modern and inviting, with comfortable seating and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a meal with friends or family.
The service at the Beer Garden was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server made excellent recommendations and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
The food was nothing short of amazing. We tried a variety of dishes, including quesadillas, arancini, and a delightful cheese dish with cherry tomatoes and pesto. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The drink selection was equally impressive, with a great variety of beers and cocktails to choose from.
Overall Experience: My visit to the Beer Garden was truly enjoyable. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a great ambiance made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend the Beer Garden to anyone looking for a fantastic place to eat in Worcester.
Conclusion: The Beer Garden in Worcester deserves a solid 5-star rating. Whether you’re there for a casual meal, a special occasion, or just to enjoy a drink in a great setting, this place has it all. I can’t wait to...
Read moreWork around the corner and have been to the brew garden on a number of different occasions all different days and at different times. Big fan of the coffee shop and what the company is doing in general for the downtown.
I gotta say I went on the first day and every week it’s been open and it has got better every time. The outdoor part is awesome pet friendly warm with the heat lamps and just so cool to have in general but the food has really gotten better and so has the service. I’ve been to lunch and dinner. I wouldn’t expect someone to greet you at the door and sit you. It’s not that kind of setting. It’s a bar with tables. Sit anywhere you can find and they have very attentive staff that will get to you and take orders. If you go outside just find a table that is available.
The wings are really really good. I was really surprised they rivaled simjangs wings in terms of crispyness and taste. Beer selection is great as well. Burgers and sausages are awesome too! This is a great spot to hang for lunch and at night for a game or just for fun as they now the...
