UPDATE Not much has changed since our last visit, the food is good and the service is good too. We got a pie and it was awesome, very nice light crust, good sauce and generous toppings. We also got the spinach dip and that was really good too, kept putting some of the dip on my slice of pie, yum! Not quite a five star experience although they are much better than your average pizza and beer saloon.
Place was busy before show at Hanover Theater. The waitresses were moving as fast as they could. The cooks were making the pizza and bartenders pouring drinks. Everyone tried their best to hustle thru the theater crowd rush.
We got meatball subs and they were great! Nice and flavorful meatballs and cheese. Could have had a little more sauce or maybe a side for dipping. They were really good sandwiches with a side of crisp thick cut chips.
We got beer and they have a great selection to choose from. Large bar area. Lots of open space so you don't feel jammed in.
The meal was good, the service was very good, the staff was very friendly and the chefs said goodbye from the open kitchen area. I gave it 4 stars and we will be back to see if they can earn that fifth star. Hope to...
Read moreLooks great. Like the variation of things to do. Has a comedy club, arcade games, and sports bar. Service is excellent. Had the cheese pizza. Love crust. It is thin but your still get that bread stick feel. It is buttery with a crispy crust and soft dough middle. Also had the wings. 2 flavors: bourbon honey and mango habanero.
The bourbon is sweet but you still get the smoky taste of bourbon. Very saucy. The chicken has a crispy outside with juicy inside.
The mango habanero was like a dry rub. Had the heat from habanero but missing the sweet balance from the mango.
I think the chicken itself could of had more flavor/spices in general.
Overall I will recommend to others and...
Read moreI'd definitely put Revolution Pie & Pint among the top 5 pizza place's in the city, along with Antonio's, Volturno, Blue Jeans, and Fratelli's. The ambiance isn't as lively as Antonio's or as fancy as Volturno but it's the only one with a comedy club attached to it. Plus, it's located in the theater district and part of The Grid which is quickly become one of Worcester's trendiest areas. If you're not interested in a fancy sit-down meal at Craft Table & Bar (which is located right next door) Revolution Pie & Pint is a great casual...
