Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Wyomissing

DO NOT GO TO THIS APPLEBEES AND PAY WITH ANY KIND OF CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD! ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

I visited this Applebees last night 10/23/22. We got there about 7:30pm before heading home as I am not from the area. We ate and received our bill about 8:10pm-8:15pm. I then provided the waiter with my Capital One Credit Card and he left.

When I got home I began to receive notifications from the credit card company regarding strange purchases. I am fortunate to have gotten these notifications before they’d add more charges. I will be reaching out to the restaurant manager and corporate. This is beyond the most disgusting thing you can do to a paying customer!

I’d like to also mention the waiter was a little shifty & weird. At the time, I was thinking to myself, he’s probably new to his position. He didn’t remove any of our appetizer dishes before serving us our entrees, didn’t ask for refills, etc. I observed another waiter, who was very engaging and attentive to his customers & their small children, thinking why didn’t I get that waiter?! He was not a good waiter to say the least throughout our whole dinning experience. At the end of our visit he literally vanished into thin air. Now thinking about it, it’s because he had stolen my credit card information, and didn’t want to interact with us...

Our waiter and waitress were both fabulous! When one wasnt checking on us the other one was. Hilarious part was when they each brought a bill to us lol. I wish we would have been recording this! The whole team was fabulous and gave us much needed laughs!

Recent Trip 6/9/24.... Our waitress was friendly, always smiling, girl! She was doing her best. The kitchen on the other hand must have been having some issues. Our Combo Platter appetizer did not get the wings, we got those after someone from the kitchen brought out our salads. Then we got our entrees, my sirloin was good, but the shrimp was cold, my child ordered breadsticks, which did not come. We got told they would be out shortly, which didn't come until out waitress came to check on things, and we got told she didn't know why. So those ended up being to go as we had all finished our food. They were nice enough to take off the breadstivks for us, and replaced it with dessert. We normally do not have issues. But, for some unfortunate reason the kitchen was not on top of it like they normally are, and it was not even that busy compared to other times we were in there. I will give them another shot, but I may just have stop for awhile until hopefully things get fixed. I admit, I did not take...

We went for my son bday everything was horrible we waited for mad long for someone to come the waiter was busy I guess then a other waiter lady came like she didn't want be there I feel like she was drunk or on something bec she was asking us the same stuff then we waited a another 20 minutes for are drink. Then I ordered my onion soup did bring to me for mad long then he was saying what we ordered like really then she got are food with a different waited she look mad give us are pasta with no bread I'm like I thought it come with a bread she was telling me I got wait I'm like why would I wait for a bread I ask for. Water she took mad long to bring my water the manager came didn't say sorry or anything give us are bread I ask him can I get water he came with the water after she was messing around talking bs in being at at the bar section feel like she was having some drinks to be real came with my water she was like oh I see they got u water oh whatever I just leave this here didn't ask use if we still want it it sad that we use to go there since my kids was lil use to be good in the food now I feel like they don't care back then was a 5 start now I feel like it a 1 that 5 was like back 3...
