Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Yakima

I will only ever give restaurants 5 stars because I know how hard it is to run a business and how crazy it can be during rush hours/lunch/dinner. I love ordering your sandwiches for lunch, and that wont change based on one bad experience. I'm NOT here to hate on a business or their employees. Today I ordered online and every other time I've ordered it has been waiting for me. Today you all dropped the ball. It was frustrating to have people who came in after me get their food first. I could see my sandwich just sitting their completed but with no one cutting and wrapping it because employees kept asking the people who were walking in what their name was and then prioritizing their order, finishing it, and handing it to them. (and I'm not talking about people who ordered before me. I could see her getting the ones from the printer when mine was already on the wall and prep work completed) I saw my completed sandwich sitting for over 5 minutes before finally saying something. I don't like to be a complainer. But the system for the online orders could be more streamlined, or put someone that can work efficiently doing the cutting and wrapping of the...

Took about 15 mins in line to get 2 cold sandwiches, not too bad of a wait. There was a big white guy with red facial hair cutting the meat, seemed like a manager or shift lead because he was bossing people around. He took the scraper from another persons hand to show them how to “properly” scrape the cutting board. Then took the spice shaker and showed him how to properly use that too. I feel like that could’ve been a private convo later instead of right in front of a line of people. He was also a little snarky when I ordered it mikes way with him responding “i just do the meat you can tell him that”. The guy putting veggies on wasn’t listening to requests. Girl ahead asked for no tomato add peppers, he put tomato and not peppers. I asked for relish and he forgot it. Tables were dirty and not being cleaned. I know they’re still new so giving 4 stars. Hoping it’ll improve as they go. Food wise, it was alright, I think Jimmy John’s bread is better. I got white bread and it was hard. I wish there were more veggie options like spinach cucumber etc. I probably will choose other sandwich shops over this one but it’s decent if it’s all...

OH MY Goodness...I must have gone to Heaven! I checked out this restaurant after my husband mentioned it to me. To my surprise they have gluten-free sub sandwich bread!!! I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to go to a restaurant and be included. I have wanted and missed sub sandwiches for years since going gluten free and have not been able to enjoy them whenever my husband gets one. To finally be able to have a sub sandwich feels like Heaven AND they also carried a gluten-free dessert option which made me feel extra special! The sandwiches were really good. The gluten-free sub bread was soft and chewy and amazing! We will definitely be back!! My husband is not gluten free and he enjoyed his as well. I got the GF Snickerdoodle and the Gluten free #7 Turkey and Provolone . Yummy! THANK YOU Jersey Mike's for having gluten-free sub bread and gluten-free cookies... I hope your gluten-free options will grow. I will definitely be spreading the word!!

They definitely need to use tag words in the doordash app. Because when I search gluten-free on doordash Jersey Mike's does...
