We placed an order at 5:28pm for pick up. My husband went to pick up our order and arrived home with someone else's order. I then called and explained what happened and they asked us to bring back the wrong order, so we did. It sounded like they were planning on just having us switch orders. So I made sure to tell them our order needs to be remade because we cannot eat something thats already been in someone elses home.
When we arrived the other customer with the wrong order was also there, the staff then went to the back of the restaurant and took all the bags with switched orders with them. Im pretty certain they just rebagged and switched food because i did not see anyone rolling the sushi in the front and i was not confident they were being truthful so I asked for a refund. The staff seemed extremely overworked and stressed and nobody could figure out how to refund my order. One of the girls named Lily was very kind and patient and tried her best to handle the situation. After waiting there for a very long time we left around 7:40pm and were told that our refund should process in about 3 hours.
I think the management/owner really needs to work on their service and how they handle the issues for...
Read moreComing from Texas, I was used to having a choice of places to eat really fresh sushi, sashimi etc....really good grade too. Oklahomans tends to base everything off of a roll and call it sushi. Danny, the restaurant manager lets me know whats fresh, what the grade is of the tuna, etc and recommendations based on new or fresh items received in. It took me almost a year of being here before i would get the courage to try sushi/shashimi in a flyover state. This place is great and offers hibachi as well. I dont grade sushi based on an "Oklahoma Roll", rather the freshness and quality of the fish itself....Tokyo Moon is great for sushi/shashimi....yes, in Oklahoma.
Rachel, you say this is the worst sushi ever? You must work at a competitor. I come here once a week and DO know sushi. You give one star like others give five stars for mcdonalds...you obviously have skin in the game or have no clue what sushi is.
Roy - please dont try and compare OK to "Asia"...first mistake. If you have a problem with the "sushi rice" as you call it, let the manager know. They always take care of me. I ket them know if something isnt right as opposed to griping on a review trying to compare it to your time in...
Read moreA casual hibachi and sushi restaurant that won't break the bank. Our hibachi chef (?) (knife slinger?) interacted very well with us. He was engaging, humorous, highly-skilled, and funny. He performed knife tricks that I had not seen before. Ask him to do the "butterfly" and watch closely. You won't be disappointed.
We were celebrating 6 family birthdays within the span of 14 days, and everyone had a great time.
Most of the entries are under $20. The sushi was quite good, and the selection was extensive. I had the octopus appetizer, eel with unagi sauce, and the Maru River roll, which consisted of a variety of fish (7, IIRC).
A great place for a second or third date, if the two of you are clicking. It's casual enough to be relaxed, but the great food, service and selection are great. The entertainment will have everyone smiling....
