Yick..QUEST FOR BLANDNESS, PRIZE FOR TOO CHEWY MEAT! The food sucks. Husband and I both had chicken, and it was so chewy and grisly, It was a huge disappointment. Portions were small. The cost was large. They dump white and flavorless rice on your plate. Zero taste. And the macaroni salad is absolutely the worst I've ever tasted. It's was like they served some lame Mac dish that a drunk guy made at 2 AM after a bender. You have to order your own food from a screen so that ultimately you have no one to blame but yourself for the choices you make. But I do blame them for how tasteless the food is. And whoa...a super sized dollop of OBNOXIOUSNESS! The person who waited on us just flat talked too much. She crouched down at our table talking non-stop, and we watched and revolted horror as she began frothing, so engaged was she in her own conversation, spitting God knows what nature of bacteria and virus on our food, which already is practically inedible. I mean, I enjoy a talkative and friendly wait staff, but this woman simply went way, way, way beyond that, practically bordering on the insane. She ignored all obvious signs that we did not want her company, and she wouldn't leave us the F alone! She was extremely pushy and domineering, and asked us to leave a review, while we were just taking the first bites of our food. She stood over me, showed me how to leave the review and watched as I wrote it. I just remembered that she forced me to do that, and that I was too ghastly ill from the sub-par "food" to even argue with her about it. So I've just come back and deleted the BS that she "strongly encouraged" me to write, and now I'm leaving an accurate review. Editing is my best friend. This is a niche business, but the niche is not one that we wish to fit into. If this is how Hawaiian food tastes, no one would go to Hawaii. One of the worst dining experiences we've had in the Oklahoma City area. Not only will we not return, but the nightmarish thought that we might be forced to visit this restaurant and eat the food again has me taking Ambien so that I can sleep right on through...
Read moreI have lived in Hawaii three years from 2013 to 2016 and I have been on the hunt for some good Hawaiian food! Especially Dole pineapple whip, because that is something you can only get in Hawaii or at Disney parks. Hawaiian Bros offers some authentic Hawaiian food and Dole whip. They also do spam musubi’s.
Anyone who’s ever lived in Hawaii for any length of time or even visited knows that the spam musubi’s at 7-Eleven in Hawaii are amazing and the spam musubi’s at Hawaiian Bros are pretty much identical!! You can tell they are handmade! The door whip was absolutely phenomenal. It made me so happy because I haven’t had a whip since 2016. The food was really good. My family all got the Honolulu chicken and I got the Kilauea chicken. I liked mine are way better than a Honolulu chicken but the Honolulu chicken was really good. If you’re looking for authentic Hawaiian Mac salad, this place has great Mac salad, but it’s not authentic in my opinion but still a really good Mac salad. They also sell stubborn soda’s which I really appreciate it because those are my favorite vanilla agave a cream soda is the bomb. All in all this restaurant is really great and if you’re having a Hawaiian food craving or pineapple whip craving, this is a...
Read moreI have a hard time knowing where to start with this review because honestly the staff and food have both been equally fantastic.
I usually order food from here on my way to my night time job around 10:30PM and I swear I'm in and out of that drive-thru with my steaming hot food in 5 minutes if that. The food has never, ever tasted like it had been sitting around for while.
Their food quality is excellent and you can tell the chicken and pork are quality ingredients as you can tell someone back there is actually cutting up the meat cuts. There are sometimes a couple of tiny inconsistencies like a cut of my chicken have gristle or too much fat on it but hey that's no problem for me if 95% of the food is fresh and not too processed. Can't expect new employees coming in to be pro butchers from the start.
The staff are amazing and even bother to remember me (I come in maybe once a week) and are always kind.
My one big gripe with the place is the macaroni salad. It isn't my cup of tea and I know a couple other people who don't like it either so I'm a tiny bit annoyed I have to pay a dollar to sub it for something as simple as vegetables every...
