This was my first and probably last time going to Taco Bueno, especially the Yukon location. I made a rather large order through the drive through, and what I got was a dosorganized mess in a bag. I pulled over in the parking lot after getting what I was told was the entire order, but I couldn't tell what was what of if I'd received everything. 20 minutes down the road, when we finally get home and start handing everything out is when I find kit we're missing part of the order. It isn't a big part, so I don't rush back to resolve it right away. If I did, everything else would have been cold before we take a bite an hour later.
The food quality itself wasn't terriblr, but was definitely not impressive either. Their hot sauce was bland, the food was bland and tasteless, and the cheeses used on everything was... weird, and probably not actually real cheese. I don't typically have high expectations from fast-food tex-mex, but USUALLY i expect everyone to be able to easily compete with and defeat Taco Bell. This was not happening on anything we ordered from their menu. Disappointing, but not too surprising.
Fast forward 2 hours when I'm back in the drive thru to resolve the missing parts of the order. I have my receipt, i can recall all events taken, and I still get attitude from the manager. I eventually get the refund for the food that I didn't receive, but not before completely unprofessional dialog took place.

Read moreThis is for the Taco Bueno in Yukon, OK. Bad experience--again. Ordered two crispy chicken tacos, Bueno burrito, soft beef taco, and beef nacho salad. Received no soft beef taco. The "crispy" shell for the chicken tacos were wet, soggy, and limp. And I got chicken instead of beef for the nacho salad. It was take-out. Didn't find out the wrong part of the order until I got home. Got back in my car and returned order to ask for my money back. The assist. mgr. on duty was unapologetic, saying, "We're only human." That phrase denotes an innocent mistake. Nope. Not this time. One of her prep people deliberately gave me two soggy, limp taco shells instead of crispy (I live only two minutes away from the place, so I hardly think that if I was served crispy shells at the counter, that they would've ended up as soggy as they were when I got home--especially since I HAVE returned home before with a similar order and still had crispy shells). And, like I said, I got chicken in my nacho salad instead of beef and no soft beef taco. "Only human"? Nope. Incompetence. To add injury to insult, after one of her young cooks, who was standing there, offered an apology for the mix-up/incompetency, she looked at him and said, "No need for an apology." Read moreWe continously have problems at this location but we continue to go back after a few months each time because my family does enjoy Taco Bueno. 1st, there was a bug in our food. We stopped going for a while then decided to give them another chance. 2nd, we wanted soft tacos with the party box for my kids and the lady told us they couldnt do it and they wouldnt. We complained, quit going for a while and then tonight.. we go again, we told the lady we wanted to subsitute the crunchy taco for a soft and the lady was very rude, told us they couldnt even though this is exactly what my fiance orders every time, he smarted off and said "del tacos line is getting smaller" and when we got to the window the lady was practically out the drive through saying she didnt like to be threatened with us going across the street and we could just go all while swiping my card. We told her we wanted to see a manager and she refused to until she swiped my card. The manager was very nice, she informed us she was trying to turn the place around and pulled the rude lady off of drive thru. We wont be going...
