Went to Cold Stone to check out their ice cream cakes for my daughter's birthday. We always get Dairy Queen cakes, but since we were in the area to eat dinner, I thought we would check it out. All the cakes looked great but she chose the Cake Batter small cake. It cost $44.15. It was one of the worst ice cream cakes we've ever eaten. The "Kit Kat's" on top are stale and taste like cardboard, the sprinkles in and around the cake are the awful plasticy tasting sprinkles, the red velvet cake was very dry and the vanilla ice cream is just ok. My son who is allergic to peanuts had a reaction. Needless to say my daughter was thoroughly disappointed and we will be sticking with Dairy Queen cakes...
Read moreWe went in today. Right when we walked in the store it smelled like disinfectant. We ordered one waffle cone with peanut butter ice cream to share, which was almost $10.00. We left the store sharing the ice cream by spoon and drove off. We got about two miles away and started breaking off pieces of the waffle cone to eat🤮🤮 both my husband and I were gagging. The waffle cone tasted like the disinfectant that we smelled in the store. We would have went back but I had an appointment on the other side of town. Read moreI recently visited the Cold Stone in the Yuma mall area and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The customer service was unprofessional and left a lot to be desired. The employees seemed disinterested and neglectful, making the whole visit feel quite unwelcoming.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the establishment was far from acceptable. The countertops were sticky, and there was an overall lack of tidiness that made me question the hygiene standards.
While I’ve always enjoyed Cold Stone’s ice cream, this particular location failed to meet basic expectations for service and cleanliness. I hope they can improve these aspects...
