This is so overpriced. I got the filet and shrimp combo for the lunch $36. No salad. The soup had two mushrooms in it and that's it. Four small shrimp was all. If I had known I wouldn't have bothered ordering that. The portions and prices are ridiculous. Steak was an okay amount..maybe 4-5 oz? My mother's scallops and shrimp had more than mine and was more balanced size wise. Hers had 6 good sized scallops. We had to tell the chef to pull the scallops or else they would be overcooked. And to pull the shrimp too. Which did become very over cooked. Scallops luckily were mostly okay. My medium rare/rare filet steak turned out medium. Still tender at least. I was shocked and was told 4 was normal for the lunch portions. But I don't think the chef even knew just grabbed some. Or whomever put the meal together. This is also where I don't like consistency and having meals prepped together. I was told supposedly there's 10 shrimp in the dinner option. Which is an outstanding $50. I usually avoid these places but my mom wanted to go. My mom didn't like the rice and said it ended up too fried. Also ordered the calamari steak stripes. Those were good. Some were overcooked. Small portion for $16. If you want a good meal with appropriate pricing for portions go elsewhere or order a different dish. No waters filled either. Grill chef was nice though. Lychee drink was good. Friend's vodka soda was bad. No alcohol noticed. Mostly tasted like water. It was very warm inside. Best thing about the place was the amazing fish tank.

First time here, we gave it a chance and it was a very good experience. It's very hard for me to like vegetables, I won't eat them specially in a restaurant, but the plate that I tried 'shrimp be owl' was really good. The vegetables were delightful roasted and taste so good, not even taste like they were vegetables. I also tried the Jalapeno fried Tofu that it was delicious, crusty, crispy but soft in the inside accompanied with this type of soy sauce with a balanced flavor, not as salty as a regular soy sauce. I also tried the 'Crazy Roll' that it was good I wouldn't say nothing out of average but good. On the service side, it was impressive, excellent and outstanding service given by our female waiter and also hostess. Very nice surprise. I strongly recommend and would definitely come back. They have dine in inside, outside and order to go or pick up.

I’ve been to several teppanyaki restaurants and they all generally serve the same menu items. This location in Yuma was no different and the food was excellent as well as our chef. I believe the only thing I disliked about the food was their sushi rolls, they weren’t cut properly which made them hard to pick up and eat. The reason I am only giving 3-stars though is because of the service, mainly our waitress. I’m not sure if she was new or just having a bad day, but I have never, at any restaurant, gotten such bad service. Her lack of clearing plates, giving refills, and even forgetting to bring us napkins/condiments would have been understandable if she was a new waitress, but her attitude and rudeness were on another level. Anything we would ask of her she would immediately comment back with a smart remark then lag to bring back or do anything. She even spilt water on my cousins lap while refilling his cup. The thing is that gratuity for our party was mandatory and included in all of our totals, so we easily paid well over $150 in just gratuity between everyone. With us paying gratuity like that, we expected much better service, at least polite and respectable service. Other teppanyaki restaurants are much more on point in terms of service and that’s why they get tipped even after that gratuity is taken out. I hope if that waitress is reading this she can come to understand that. I don’t think we...

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered takeout just to find a bunch of hair in my rice. When I called them to let them know, the manager wouldn't even speak to me. When the manager did finally speak with me they were extremly rude and accused me of lying. I then told them that I could take back the rice itself and show them as well as pictures of where the hairs were when I found them. When I offered to do that they told me it wasn't necessary and that they could make me a new one, at this point I was over it and just wanted a refund. When I let her know this she very rudely told me she didn't think she could do that. She then proceeded to tell me that they could either make me a new one or give me a gift card. I then told her that I wanted neither of those options, I just wanted my money back and that I would no longer be dining with them and she finally `said she would give me my refund. When I got to the restaurant after that phone call, the hostess said she would be right back with her manager. When the manager did make her way over she was visibly frustrated and didn't even acknowledge me or apologize for the hair in my food. She just punched in the code for the refund to go through and left very quickly. The hostess handed me my money and apologized for the inconvenience but with that kind of management I will not be dining...
