Read moreI went to Chili's in Zephyrhills, Fl.on Saturday 5/23/2015 in the afternoon. It was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. When we got there, it took a good 15 minutes for us to even get acknowledged that we would be seated. When we finally got seated, it took another 15 minutes for us to get our drink orders in. The table next to us looked like it was a table for a party of 8 or 10 that had completed their meal and left. The table was filthy and never cleaned. We ordered appetizers, the salsa chips were crushed in small pieces. We had to send them back because the pieces were to small to use with dip. We got our food. The food was ok. We did not have a friendly, helpful waitress. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. After lunch, my husband ordered a cheesecake for dessert. When the cheesecake finally came out, it had MOLD on it! . I don't know how the waitress or chef missed it. The mold was on top of the cheesecake and the crust on the side. I asked for the manager, her and the waitress seemed spaced out like they were on drugs or alcohol or perhaps they were just naturally spacey people. I explained my experience to the manager. While doing so, the waitress decided to clean the filthy table. She dropped the dishes on the floor and the noise was ridiculous. As I was telling the manager about all that we experienced, her reply was yeah, I saw you guys standing at the door when you arrived, She then apologized for the ordeal and then walked away all glazy eyed. She came back and said she was taking half our meals and if we wanted another piece of cheesecake we'd have to wait because it wasn't thawed out. We politely said no thank you and paid our bill. For the first time in my life, I did not leave a tip! I will not be visiting that Chili's. It was one of my favorite local restaurants....
Read moreUpon arriving and being seated there was food and drinks spilled all over the floor, food still on the table and in the chairs. I requested to have another table as this one was extremely gross. The server had someone come wipe the table down. I again requested could we please clean up the spilled drink on the floor and food as my 82 year old grandmother would be sitting there. The server started roughly with an attitude swinging the chairs around sweeping the floor picking up the big chunks but still left the drink. I again asked if we could sit in a different table or wait for a cleaner spot to become available as there was still food under the table and in the chairs. They agreed to let us sit in the back so my family pushed the tables together and arranged the chairs. Some of us received refills on drinks others did not. The server dumped ice water on the floor at our table right at my grandmothers feet and never cleaned it up. She was worried to slip and fall so my husband had to help her walk away from the table. We never got extra napkins to wipe it up for her. There was blond hair in my food and not all food was received. If the dinning room is viewed to be presentable like this it makes me wonder what conditions our food is being cooked in. There was lots of napkins and food around other...
