**"LongHorn Steakhouse"** This time Sandie, Patty and I made our way to the new "LongHorn Steakhouse" located off of Gall Blvd and Pretty Pond Rd. 7471 Gall Blvd., Zephyrhills, FL 33541 PH: 813-322-0021 **Hours:** Sunday - Thursday: 11 AM - 10PM Friday - Saturday: 11 AM - 11 PM We arrived at the restaurant around 3:15 PM and found it to be fairly busy, but we only waited about 10 minutes before being seated in a comfortable booth. The newly constructed establishment was clean and featured a well-planned, modern layout that contributed to a pleasant dining atmosphere. To start, we each ordered iced tea: Patty chose sweet tea, Sandie opted for raspberry tea, and I went with peach tea. We were also served some complimentary bread with butter, which was a nice touch. For an appetizer, we shared the "Texas Tonion," a delightful dish of crispy battered onion petals served with a zesty dipping sauce. The portion was generous and perfect for the three of us, although we could have used an extra dip to fully enjoy every bite. Next, we each enjoyed Caesar salads made with crunchy romaine lettuce, dressed perfectly, and topped with flaky Parmesan cheese and croutons. The croutons were a highlight—crispy yet tender and easy to chew. Sandie ordered the 6 oz. Renegade Sirloin cooked medium, served with buttery mashed potatoes. She found the steak to be seasoned well, tender, and easy to cut, while the mashed potatoes were deliciously creamy. My sister Patty chose the Cowboy Pork Chops, which consisted of three boneless center-cut chops paired with a loaded baked potato (sans sour cream) and a side of Ranch dressing. She relished her meal but couldn’t finish all the chops, taking two home with her. I sampled one and found the pork to be juicy and tender; I can see why she enjoyed them! For my main course, I opted for the Grill Master Combo, featuring a 6 oz. Renegade Sirloin cooked medium-well with a side of roasted mushrooms, along with eight Redrock Grilled Shrimp served over a flavorful rice bed and a loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked almost perfectly medium-well, with a good flavor and juiciness pairing well with the mushrooms, though I found it a bit challenging to cut—perhaps due to the surprisingly heavy steak knife. The shrimp were generously sized and paired wonderfully with the garlic butter, while the rice was cooked to perfection. The loaded baked potato, though decent in size, could have used more toppings. One minor downside was that the food cooled off fairly quickly; it would have been nice if the plates had been warmed beforehand. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Longhorn Steakhouse. The staff was friendly, and our food arrived in a timely manner. The price for our meal was reasonable, totaling around $86 for the three of us, which breaks down to about $30 each, including the appetizer. We all agreed that we would love to return for another meal in the future!

We went to the New Longhorns in Zepherhills tonight around 6pm, we signed up on their online check in. It told us approximately 35 min wait and to see the host hwen we arrived. We arrived 20 min later but never did receive confirmation by text that we are on wait list. When we arrived they said we would then be put on wait, so why did we wait list online if we still were not on it until we arrived. This sustem needs a little work. Once our name was called we were given a seat that was clean and comfortable. With in 2 min of being seated Amanda arrived to welcome us to Longhorns and ask if we wanted drinks. We order our beveages and she then asked if we wanted anything as a starter. We declined. About 3 min later Amanda arrived with our drinks and a loaf of their bread. She asked then if we ready to order. We gave her our order and she left. She came back about 5 min later will a refill of my beverage, even with out me asking. That always impresses me when dining out. Shows she is attentive and is wanting to make my experience positive. 10 min later she brought our salads out and both of our salads were fresh, and tasty woth crisp lettuce. As we finished our salads, it was about 10 min or so the staff arrived with our dinner. My wife had tenders and fries, the fries came hot and crispy, and very tasty. My wife said, "wow, thats even better then Cheddars". I had ribs and baked potatoe, loaded. The ribs we succulent and hot, very tender as well. Unfortunatly the baked potatoe was underwhelming, the potatoe was warm at best bot hot, the sour cream and shredded cheese was very very scarce and I was disappointed. My friend ate here a few days ago and told me that their potatoe was about the same. Warm and skimpy on the "Loaded" Overall I believe Amanda did amazing for a new job as a server at Longhorns. She was attentive, friendly, constantly chearful and always smiled. The food with the exception of the Potatoe was great. We hope to get a chance to try it again before we head home to Canada in April. Our total bill was $50.88 I felt that to eat out for 2 and have a great tasting meal that was great value.

sorry in advance for this is long review. We came here to celebrate an event. So we figure we'd give this new Longhorn steakhouse a try. They DID NOT disappoint. We got on waitlist to be seated before leaving house. Time was 35-40. Drive there check in a hostess station she said 2 parties ahead probably another 10-15 minute. Okay no problem. She called us about 7 minutes later. We was given menus and told server would be by in a minute. I guess the waitress who's area we was in was busy but another waitress got our drink order and appetizer order. Drinks was brought quickly. Our waitress then brought appetizer within 5-10 minutes. Great. She took our order. Refilled drink. Stopped back by our table told us our food would be out in a minutes ask if we need anything else. Refilled drinks. Brought another loaf of bread. Brought food out ask if we need steak sauce/ketchup etc. Came back by a few minutes to make steak was cook to our preferences. Refilled drink. Asked if we wanted anything. Manager stopped by table ask how the meal was going. Excellent! Waitress stopped by a few more times. Brought to go boxes since we was stuffed. Waitress brought check. We forgot to mention the free appetizer. No problems she went to POS computer and took it off and brought back new check. Took card cashed us out. Brought card back. Overall best experience dining out in a long long time. Last Longhorn I went to was in Tampa. Service there sucked, long waits, had to wave down wait staff to get anything. I guess maybe since we had a party of 10 that night they knew they was getting a tip no matter how bad of service they gave.

Took a family of seven to celebrate my son's birthday. We were greeted with the expected 45 minute wait and seated in the back, about 5 feet from a screaming child. The waiter was polite but a bit addlebrained as he delivered drinks, followed by silverware, then briefly by loaves of bread. Not being savages, we had to ask for the plates and 10 minutes late, the plates arrived after we had finished the bread.

We placed our order and 20 minutes later, a thunderstorm caused the power to briefly go out. Shortly afterwards, they began bringing out the entrees. The person who brought out the food began to identify the plate by the type of sides and not the actual entree. (I had a WTF moment). Over a span of less than 10 minutes, we received 6 of 7 entrees, all guessing what the meal was by the confused girl describing the various sides.

Shortly, the waiter reappeared to feign surprise that the birthday boy hadn't received his steak.... a medium rare steak.... (3-4 minutes on both sides). He stated that he would go check on it.

He returned shortly to inform us that "they're working on it."

The 6 began to eat while the birthday boy waited. The waiter returned to check on any needs... Uhm... yeah, a medium rare steak. Oh yeah, let me go look. Another 10 minutes goes by and....."oh. They waited to start your steak after everyone else's and now the grill is down. I'm sorry. Don't worry, we won't charge you."

I promptly responded with a "wait. What? You can't cook his medium rare steak? "

Waiter, "no. They're backed up, but I can offer him a free ice cream and not charge you for the steak."

At that point my wife shot me the "dont ruin your son's birthday dinner by smashing the idiots face into the bread" look, so I asked for the check.

Assuming the management would be making rounds to apologize for any inconvenience, I quickly remembered that we're in Zephyrhills and this crew didn't seem interested in providing proper customer service.

Oh well, this was the first and the last time for Longhorn in Zephyrhills.

Perhaps invest in some...
