I am an Italian living in Vietnam since 2005 (not regularly), but permanent since 2017. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria l'Italiano di Da Nang, owned by Carmine and his Vietnamese wife. I must say that my experience was delightful from start to finish.
The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The staff members were attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. Carmine personally welcomed me, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. The pizzas at Pizzeria l'Italiano di Da Nang were absolutely fantastic. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It was evident that great care was taken in selecting the ingredients, as each bite was bursting with deliciousness. They offered a variety of toppings and even had some unique combinations that I hadn't tried before.
Aside from the pizzas, the menu had a nice selection of other Italian dishes as well. I had the opportunity to try some pasta dishes, and they were equally impressive. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and well-balanced. It was evident that the chefs had a deep understanding of Italian cuisine.
To complement the meal, they had a good selection of wines and beverages (including an absolute outstanding homemade "Limoncello"). The staff was knowledgeable and offered recommendations based on my preferences, enhancing the overall dining experience.
What impressed me the most was the dedication and passion that Carmine and his wife put into their restaurant. They truly cared about the quality of the food and the satisfaction of their customers. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing an authentic Italian dining experience was evident in every aspect of my visit.
Overall, I highly recommend Pizzeria l'Italiano di Da Nang. Whether you're craving delicious pizzas or authentic Italian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Carmine and his wife have created a gem in the heart of Da Nang, and I can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience.

Read moreL’Italiano is more than a very good Italian restaurant; it’s an amazing dining experience! The Italian food is authentic, the service is outstanding and the atmosphere is charming. Carmine, the owner, is from Italy and along with his wife, Mit and their staff, they have created a little piece of Italy in Đà Nẵng. We were greeted outside as we arrived on our motorbike. The waiter directed me to a parking area and then escorted my guest to a table. The owner, Carmine immediately came over to our table, greeted us and reviewed the specials. Make sure to come early as their very popular, homemade lasagna and gnocchi do sell out toward the end of the evening. We ordered the homemade pesto and cherry tomato pizza. Wow, such a flavorful pizza. L’Italiano’s pizza is thin with a nice crispy, chewy crust. Everyone has their favorite style of pizza, but style aside, this is really good pizza with high-quality toppings. For dessert we had the tiramisu. L’Italiano's tiramisu is moist and creamy, with a nice balance of flavors. The margarita, red wine, limoncello and amaro we had to drink were all excellent. To top things off, Carmine plays the guitar and sang a few songs. He is very good about interacting with his guests and making sure everyone has a wonderful dining experience. Overall we felt that L’Italiano was an excellent value for the quality of food, excellent service and great atmosphere. We will definitely will be coming back and thank Carmine, Mit and the staff for their generosity and making us feel like part of the family. I highly recommend L’Italiano. We came back to try the lasagna. The taste and flavor was delicious; however the noodles were a bit over-cooked, thin and not many layers. I prefer a more solid, firm lasagna or at least more layers of noodles. This however, did not take away from the quality, and I would not hesitate to...

As I crossed the threshold into L'italia, the air was thick with an intoxicating blend of aromas — the rich, earthy scent of freshly baked dough and the simmering sweetness of tomatoes teased my senses, setting a stage ripe with anticipation. The act of biting into their pizza was akin to succumbing to a long-anticipated kiss, where the warmth of the savory cheese caressed my mouth, unfolding slowly, tenderly, with a sensuality that demanded savoring. This cheese, decadently soft and inviting, seemed to melt into a pool of warmth that flooded my senses, speaking in whispers of indulgence and desire.
This cheese was not merely an ingredient; it was an embrace, wrapping around me with an intimacy that stirred the air, its warmth seeping into every pore, igniting a slow burn of pleasure that radiated from within. Against this, the crust offered a delightful contrast — its edges crisped to a delicate golden, yielding to a soft, pillowy center that cradled the molten cheese, balancing tenderness with a tease of texture. The kiss of aromatic herbs and the zesty tang of the tomato sauce layered atop invited a complexity of flavors, each note playing off the others in a sultry dance, drawing me deeper into the fold of each bite.
This venture into L'italia was more than a meal; it was an odyssey of the senses, a foray into an intimacy so profound it bordered on the divine. Each element of the pizza, from the seductive melt of the cheese to the symphony of toppings, conspired to create an experience that was as enveloping as it was enrapturing. In this space, the pizza transcended mere sustenance; it became a vessel of sensory ecstasy, a testament to the deep, unspoken pleasures that lie in the act of...
