May Art Cafe is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Hanoi, offering a super relaxing atmosphere that feels like a delightful escape from the bustling city. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by wonderfully beautiful decor that perfectly blends artistic flair with a quaint charm.

I decided to try their salted coffee, and it was nothing short of fantastic—flavourful and pleasantly rich, it was the perfect pick-me-up. My partner also indulged in their avocado juice, which was thick and not overly sweet, making it both tasty and refreshing.

The cafe is tucked away in a hidden alley, which adds to its allure. We had a seat upstairs, where it was wonderfully quiet—an ideal spot for relaxation. The occasional sounds from the nearby school provided a gentle backdrop that actually enhanced the charm of the place rather than detracting from it.

What I particularly loved were the repurposed tables that added character to the space. The lady serving and making the coffee was incredibly kind and pleasant, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe of the cafe.

It impresses you from the first step into the shop and even more impressive when you go up to the balcony on the 3rd floor of the shop. The drinks are delicious, especially salt coffee and coffee because my boyfriend and I really love the coffee here. He usually drinks 2 cups of salt coffee at a time to be enough 😊.
