A wonderful place to chill, work, have a quick or long brunch, come late and grab a snack with friends after having too much to drink...you name it...this cool and cozy cafe/bar has it all. I was sitting there one quiet morning, working up the deadlines when the waiter gently put a vase of roses on the table...it wasn't that special until Mr doorman walked by and saw that it needs some slight touches...he silently adjusted the roses and added a few leaves to it...to be honest, roses were never that perfect in my eyes...then he gave me a smile and walked away. we've always pick this place as a safe cave to hide at 2 a.m in our crazy clubbing time...but now It's even better in the day light. come and see for yourself how simple but very in-style it iis. PS: they also provide a long list of choices for food and drinks...the nachos is a must-try dish :)

Good food, western & local. Drinks are good. Both good value. The bonus here is Sports on TV. If the schedule is not listed, just ask & they'll arrange a live feed of the game that you want. Upstairs it's a dedicated air-conditioned Sports bar to watch whatever you want, with 3 TVs to show the same game. They also arrange a waiter to hang around & get drinks & food for you from downstairs. In one visit we had 10 people to watch AFL...3 hour game before & after...no complaints about our rowdiness or running drinks the whole time.. Overall the bar has comfy seats & lounges everywhere. I've been 4 times & at different times of the day & night, the service is always great.... & it's open 24/7 Good value for money ...We drank a lot, ate & spent a lot.

I ordered from Puku for the first time. I was excited about it as it had a good range of expat food. But when it arrived I was nothing but disappointed. The pictures were not what arrived. I ordered the tacos and made my preference of beef. The photos showed three tacos with a crispy shell with all the lettuce tomatoes and cheese. I got a single flour taco with only beef and corn inside. I thought maybe it was a build your own taco but the sides were the salad that comes with it with balsamic vinegarette all over. One cheese for both dishes and one sour cream for the fajita. My other order was a the chicken fajitas. I was expecting what that is but it is an Asian stir-fry with 2 thin flour tortillas. I feel scammed. The salsa was weirdly oily and the taste like ketchup. I don't think I will order from here again. Big let down.

Away from home and missing your sporting fix? You have to visit Puku…… they literally will play any sport on one of their many TVs. A group of us were in Hanoi, and wanted to watch State of Origin….. turns out we weren’t alone, and had a fantastic time (Woop Woop QLD win). Great relaxed bar, with good atmosphere, food, coffee, beer, cocktails and staff. Even the background music was great. A few days later, wanted to watch my Hurricanes in their Super Rugby QF…. not a problem. Ended up spending most of the day relaxing in the bar, watching rugby, drinking beer and eating. Hats off to the staff who are so accomodating and attentive. Thanks Puku, we loved spending time with you

I ordered the beef fajitas. They came out sizzling on a hot place like any respectable western-style fajita platter. The steak wasn't the usual skirt steak. It was much more chewy and not very flavorful. They skimped on the salsa and only gave 2 tortillas. However, I asked for more tortillas and they gave me 2 more without charging me, so that's worth an extra star. The price for the fajitas was reasonable at 130,000 vnd ($5.60). 4-stars for the food. However, what I like about this place is that it's like a sports bar and they show pretty much any sporting event that you want to watch, especially UFC fights and other pay per view events. 5-stars for this.

We live not far from Puku and have been going there quite often for the last 10+ years whenever we would like to relax, need some food and drink and don't want bad surprise. We also go there when we want to meet friends at an odd hour since it opens 24/7. At Puku you can be sure that the food is good. The international menu means everyone can find something to eat, including the vegan. Lots of different drinks as well. And best of all is probably the atmosphere - very very relax, very casual, but still decent and comfortable. The decor changes a little bit over the years but quality of services remains the same. Really love it.
