Anh was exceptional in her massage skill set. Hanoi Spa is very relaxing, friendly service. Conveniently located off a major tourist area in the Old Quarters. Prices are comparable with other spas in the area. Anh was friendly, aside from language barriers, we managed to communicate and had a very positive and relaxing experience. She is very thorough in her skill. She responded to all areas of concern when it came to pain tolerance and still provided an exceptional massage. This was the worst massage I have ever gotten.

I feel bad because she was a sweet girl but she had no idea what she was doing - she had long nails that would frequently dig into and scratch my skin as well, and she also dragged her elbow down my spine multiple times.

She also kept asking me questions mid massage like what languages I can speak, where I’m from, my age etc., when it was supposed to be a relaxing massage. My sister was next to me and she said her masseuse had one hand massaging and the other messaging on her phone, and when she looked up she quickly put her phone away.

I got a gel manicure here and honestly, it was the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. The polish wasn’t set properly, the gel was poor quality, and it’s already peeling off by itself. I wasn’t going to write a review, but it was just that bad. I chose this place because of the good reviews, but I’m honestly shocked — maybe the foot massage is great, but I can’t speak on that. The tools were clearly dirty, and the technician hurt my nails multiple times with the machine without apologizing or being gentle. If you’re a tourist, do yourself a favor and go to a proper salon... even if...
