Food was nice. Overpriced, terrible customer service. The service was terrible, the staff just didn't seem to care about the customers, better training is needed by management. we waited ages for someone to take our order. They brought us someone else's food, and because they didn't tell us what the food was, just said "who had rice? and this other one must be yours" put it down & walked away, it took us a few minutes to get anyone's attention to tell them. Then they just took the food off our table & put it straight onto the correct table, fortunately we hadn't eaten any, but one of us had put a fork in the food. For dessert, one member of our party was told that 2 different items they tried to order were sold out. One dessert was brought out straight away, the other we waited ages for. We could see that one member of staff was making drinks, making desserts & handling money, looking very stressed out, whilst about 4 other staff were stood around doing nothing. When paying the bill, we'd been charged 5,000VND each for the wet towel!! This is one of the most expensive meals we've had whilst travelling in Vietnam. We don't mind paying more money for good service, good atmosphere & good food. But we didn't get that & felt that the price did not justify the service we...
Read moreExtremely overrated and unimpressed. I would not recommend this place. I very rarely leave reviews but I feel I had to on this occasion to help my fellow travellers.
We were greeted by a waiter who looked rushed off is feet and had no help. On first impressions were that they were understaffed. Plates on tables left over from customers who had left sometime ago.
After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our order, we waited around 30 minutes before only one of our drinks arrived. In the end my cappuccino never arrived.
About 5 minutes after one drink arrived our food was presented to us. First impression was the food looked nice and well presented. Second impression was it was awful. We both had about 2 mouthfuls. Pictures below are of what we got versus what we ate/left. Highly dissatisfied. Food was tasteless and cold and portions size for the price we paid was small.
We tried using Google translate to advise the manager we were not happy but either he did not understand or seem to care. We politely paid our bill in full and left to find a local cafe.
Moral of the story…don’t fall for the pretty aesthetics. Lesson learned we will only eat in local cafes and restaurants where we have found prices to be good, service with a smile and food and...
Read moreThe food was amazing, I had the beef salad & fresh spring rolls and my friend had the bun, which used an incredible bread but it was more of a western version of the Banh Mi but still delicious. All the dishes were amazing. We had the vanilla bread and Himalayan coffee as desert and they were adequate. I would recommend the coffee but it was way too expensive, nice but not nice enough for that price. I will go back there to eat again but I will not have the dessert nor the coffee. The staff were friendly and I didn’t wait to long on my food. The dishes come out at different time as many of the reviews have already said but I am also aware that getting a certain dish first and then the next one is a western thing and here in SE Asia they mainly put dishes on the table and everyone shares. My recommendation would be to ask to get your food in a certain order (use Google Translate if needed) and if that doesn’t work then complain about...
