The lovely cake and coffee was really let down by the unnecessarily unfriendly staff. My friend and I ordered cakes and coffee and sat down quietly in a corner with our books on a rainy afternoon. I found the staff were constantly watching us and glaring. If either of us got up a member of staff would come rushing over to follow us wherever we were going. I went to the souvenir counter as I wanted to buy some of the coffee we’d just had to take home and a member of staff immediately followed me over and stood so close in my personal space I could feel his breath! I didn’t see him do this with a single other customer. It was rude and highly embarrassing. When I went to use the bathroom three members of staff stood directly outside and waited for me and gave me glaring looks as I left. So far so good I like it! I ordered the red head which is a juice combo of carrot, orange, ginger, lime and chili I think if Im not remembering it wrong. To me it screams vitamin and digestive boost haha and it tastes quite refreshing and not spicy phew i was a bit hesitant about the chili part. They have so many more different combos of juices, blends, teas and smoothies and they all seem interesting, healthy and yummy at the same time. Bonus is that its a great place for a lactose intolerant gal like me! 👍🏼 I will be back to try other drinks for sure next time...
