Homestay May Trang — Hotel in Hội An

We had a great stay at May Trang Homestay, a lovely homestay in a great location with brilliant owners / staff. We arrived at 5am from a night bus and could dump our bags and use the sofa for some sleep. Our room was then prioritised to be cleaned first which allowed for an early than anticipated check in, which we really appreciated. Upon checking in Vivi on reception provided us with a local map and gave us lots of great recommendations for the local area, especially in terms of restaurants. We visited the majority of her recommendations and enjoyed every single one! You can also rent bicycles from the homestay to go to the beach for example. Vivi also sorted our transfer to Da Nang. In terms of the room, it was nice and spacious, no complaints. The location of the homestay is great, a 15 minute maximum walk to most things in the old town but often much shorter (2 mins to the main bridge and river). I had an exceptional stay at May Trang Room – a fantastic choice! The presence of a refreshing clean swimming pool added a delightful touch to my experience. Conveniently located near various food places, markets, and the enchanting lantern festivals, the hotel's surroundings are a definite plus.

Great location- near the river and near the Lune Performing Arts Center. We were there to watch the show, Teh Dar at Lune Center and it was just a short 3 minute walk from Homestay May Trang. The room was clean, big enough, and the bathroom was clean and with hot and cold shower. We also loved the swimming pool. It's small but good for a relaxing dip. And of course it was affordable! Bring cash because they only accept cash payments. The lady at reception was very helpful and nice! Will definitely go back when we go...
