Lovely place. Very crowded but good for a day or two. The motorbikes are too crazy for me and danang was better as the bike's go too fast around the Hoi an streets. We actually saw a young boy getting knocked down but thankfully he was ok. The bikes spoil this place and even the locals annoy you trying to get you to buy stuff. None of that in danang so I will not be the keenest to ever visit Hoi an again. Those things spoil hoi an's natural beauty which is not in question. And a shout out to mr beans...

It is one of the most beautiful towns in Vietnam. During the day, there is people walking and visiting the old town. Around 5-6 PM, the city became very crowded and difficult to walk. It can be very stressful with so many people. My first night, I didn't like Hoi An so many people everywhere, impossible to enjoy the place and beautiful buildings.
