Olivier Coffee — Restaurant in Hội An

This is my favorite cafe in Hoi An! It's a quiet oasis with absolutely delicious coffee and smoothies.

The decor creates a calming atmosphere perfect for settling down and reading, or just sipping a coffee while listening to the relaxing music they play, with the bubbling water in the background. The owners have done an incredible job creating a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle you'll find elsewhere in Hoi An. They've blended influences from Italy, France, Greece, and, of course, Vietnam to make a place unique and beautiful.

Throughout my search for cafes in Hoi An, this is the only one I returned to every day. The coffee is rich, smooth and strong. While I tried a number of their coffee drinks (and loved them all!), I particularly enjoyed the egg coffee and salted coffee.

The owners and operators are friendly and welcoming, and provide great service. While many of the cafes I visited had nice service, the owners here really go the next step in offering a great experience and are clearly invested in making sure you enjoy your visit.

Almost all the menu items are around 50,000 VND, which I found to be cheaper than most of the places in the Old City of Hoi An, and provided a better quality coffee.

Olivier also has coffee beans you can buy, and I look forward to getting a little taste of Vietnamese coffee when I get back home.

I stumbled upon Olivier Coffee Shop and I'm so glad I did! This charming coffee shop serves the most delicious brewed coffee I've ever had. As a coffee aficionado, I'm quite particular about my coffee, and Olivier Coffee Shop exceeded my expectations.

Olivier’s Coffee shop was one of the best parts of my stay in Hoi An. The coffee is incredible, but also getting to know Olivier was very special - he is incredibly hard working and passionate about his coffee, and very inspiring as a person.

He is always willing to help and is so thoughtful. I did some work at my laptop one day and he said I could use the WiFi for as long as I needed, and provided a free power socket for me to use.

When I asked for a dairy free option for Vietnamese iced coconut coffee, he made an alternative no problem (and it was amazing so I came back to have it again). He taught me how to make it myself so I could share with my family back home. He was very patient when explaining and let me try different variations of the coffee (which is his own blend). He has coffee you can purchase and also the special Vietnamese coffee maker (phin) so that you can brew it and enjoy back home too!

I loved his enthusiasm and passion for embracing opportunities - always learning and willing to share with others. He is a rare gem of a host, and together with his partner they are a great team and so friendly 😊 I thoroughly enjoyed every visit, coffee and conversation I had there.
