We would give Pebble Homestay 10 stars if we could. The property is located within a 10 minute walk over a bridge to Hoi An's Ancient Town, however thanks to its location on a little island, the neighborhood feels much more authentically traditional and QUIET compared to the Ancient Town. The property is brand new. Upon arrival you're greeted by Pebble Homestay's lush and beautiful patio garden. We loved relaxing in the space and having breakfast among the plants in the mornings. The family who runs this wonderful homestay is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They assisted us in arranging private car transportation from Da Nang to their lodging in Hoi An for an excellent price and with a very competent driver in a new clean car. Our room (202) in Pebble Homestay was immaculately clean, very spacious with a balcony that overlooks Hoi An's palm trees and traditionally styled rooftops. And so much sky! The room had a comfortable Western style mattress, mini fridge, armoire for hanging and folding clothes, and there was a separate partitioned shower in the bathroom (unlike many "wet bathrooms" in Vietnam which don't divide the shower from the toilet and sink area). The family also went above and beyond in accommodating our request for a vegetarian breakfast option. Their vegetarian ("Chay") version of cao lao and my quang were sooo delicious! Thank you everyone at Pebble Homestay for welcoming us into your beautiful home and for being so kind and supportive to us. We look forward to returning the next time...
Read moreThis was such a lovely place to stay. The bedroom was very spacious and even had a small balcony with a nice breeze. The couple who run it are very nice and do everything they can to make your stay great, they even got up early on our last day to make sure we had some breakfast before going to the airport. The location was an easy walk just over the bridge from the old town, so very easy to get around on foot. They also have a couple of bikes to hire which we made use of. The breakfast is pretty good and they get you to order the night before so they can buy fresh ingredients at the market. The courtyard for breakfast is also very pleasant with nice flowers growing. The only negative of our stay was one of the drains in the bathroom was stinky, but we just kept the door closed and it was fine. Didn't notice it...
Read moreWe only had time to stay one night but when we arrived, we had the warmest welcome. The son and daughter speak very good English and as we checked in the son told us about all of the sights, tours and activities that we should do while in Hoi An. The room was insane value for money and the facilities/ amenities were unmatched for that price. I Would recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hoi An as it is only a 5 minute walk away from the Old Town and the location is perfect. This was our first homestay since coming to Asia so we wasn't sure what to expect, but after this experience we will definitely be doing it more often! We wish we could've stayed longer...
