A Delightful Culinary Experience at Lemongrass Hoi An
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lemongrass Hoi An, and I am compelled to share my exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped in, the restaurant exuded a welcoming ambiance that promised an unforgettable meal—and it delivered on that promise.
The meal began with their Signature Chef's Salad, a refreshing ensemble of greens that set the tone for what was to come. The Five-Spice Pork Belly was a standout dish, with its rich flavor and succulent texture melting perfectly in the mouth. Not to be outshone, the Lemon Leaf-Infused Grilled Chicken was a masterful display of balanced seasoning and tender grilling.
The star of the evening, however, was the Bamboo-Grilled Beef. Cooked inside a bamboo pipe, it had a unique smokiness that enhanced the beef's natural flavors beautifully. As a vegetarian option, the Grilled Eggplant with Soy Glaze was an absolute delight, with the soy glaze adding a sweet depth to the smoky eggplant.
Accompanying these mains were the perfect sides. The Claypot Tofu & Mushroom Medley was comforting, with the earthy flavors of the mushrooms complementing the softness of the tofu, all absorbed in a savory sauce that I couldn't get enough of.
To finish, the ambiance of the restaurant, with its blend of traditional and modern Vietnamese decor, created a dining backdrop that was both elegant and comfortable.
Lemongrass Hoi An is not just a restaurant; it's a destination that offers a culinary journey through Vietnam. It's clear that the chefs take pride in their work, and their passion shines through in every dish. I left with a full stomach and a happy heart, already planning my next visit.

Read more5 Stars Absolutely loved our dinner at Lemongrass Restaurant in Hoi An! Every dish packed a punch of flavor, and the spice levels were spot on — just enough heat to excite the palate without overwhelming it.
We tried the Banana Leaf Wrapped Grilled Snapper with turmeric spices, the lemongrass and chili chicken, and the chicken wings fried with fish sauce. All three were amazing. The fish was beautifully cooked and seasoned, the chicken was tender and came with well-seasoned vegetables, and the wings had incredibly crispy skin and deep savory flavor.
Presentation was thoughtful and vibrant, adding to the experience. Portions were on the smaller side, but each bite was full of quality and care. Highly recommended if you're in Hoi An and craving authentic, flavorful Vietnamese cuisine with a bit of a kick!
The staff as well were attentive and helpful.

Read moreDelicious food, especially the lemongrass chicken, couldn’t get enough of it! Lovely setting off a side street next to a temple with beautiful lighting. Good portions and good value for money. Only 2 things I had a quibble with - we were there for 7.10pm and they had already run out of the beef in bamboo (they said they had been busy and we wanted 4 but they only had 1 left) and also ran out of banana/pineapple fritters which I was so disappointed by! Also they didn’t clear our main course dishes when we were eating our ice cream which I thought was so odd - surely standard to clear a table before you move on to the next course? These things wouldn’t put me off going though - the food and location...
