Nha hang Khoai Tay — Restaurant in Hội An

A fantastic restaurant, family-owned, whose chef delivers excellent meals every time. I’ve visited Nha hang Khoai Tay four times (so far) on my Hoi An visit, and ordered:

1. Traditional Chicken and Rice
2. Red Snapper (with a side of rice) - one of the best meals I’ve eaten in recent years! Absolutely perfect

Everything was perfectly seasoned and delivered piping hot. The host/chef is a handsome charmer blessed with talent and technique. We have been recommended by a friend to eat here and we thought let’s give a try! We went here and chatted with the owner Tong, a really nice and friendly guy. He used to work as cook in the high-end restaurants, resorts and hotels. Recently, he and his whole family jointly opened this restaurant. Oh man, he can cook! We are two vegans and told that we do not eat meat and dairy. He replies with “no worries, have a seat”. The food was just amazing, finger licking good, not the kfc way but in reality.
