The Hoianan hotel is located in the Ancient town of Hoi An. Walk out the front door in the evening and merchant stalls are right in front of you. It's only about a 2 to 3 minute walk to the bridge and you can see the lantern boats at night. ||The hotel itself is decent facility but has a couple of shortfalls. Our friends and my wife and I were in different units and we both had issues with plumbing, usually in the morning. The consistency and availability of hot water in the bathroom was poor and at times water would spurt through the tap with equal amounts of air so you received terrible water pressure. ||The bathroom had a big vinyl/plastic blind you could pull down when showering to prevent the rest of the bathroom from getting wet. The idea makes sense but it didn't work well in practice. It had lost tension so would roll out further than needed and you can only imagine what happens when you roll that blind up all wet in a humid environment. Tile grout was black in a couple of areas, mold?||The room was alright but lacked space to hang up clothes. There was an armoire in our room but lacked sufficient hangers. |The air conditioning worked fine, there is a pool for refreshing dips in the afternoon and the staff are friendly and helpful.||The breakfast offering is plentiful - fresh fruit, bread, rolls, cereal, yogurt, cold cuts, some hot food offerings, coffee, tea, orange flavored beverage. You can also get eggs cooked to your liking (omelette, scrambled, poached, etc ) and they had a hot local offering (e.g. chicken noodles) each morning.||Our room had a nice balcony with a table and two chairs. Humidity levels are high and even with air conditioning on overnight our windows and French doors to the balcony were covered with condensation in the morning.||Housekeeping came daily and replenished drinking water, swept the floor and switched out towels. The front desk staff are friendly and like to be helpful. ||If you're after a good location in the Ancient Town of Hoi An the Hoianan Boutique Hotel is ideally situated and has friendly helpful staff with a good breakfast offering but there are shortcomings to...
Read more8/19/23-8/23/23. We will indeed return! ●STAFF: Amazing, kind, informative, and spoke failrly good English (although I had an advantage of having my Vietnamese husband with us to translate). ●OUR ROOM: Comfy and clean & free water bottles (their other drinks are priced fairly low - about $1). ●ROOM KEY: Electricity in the room turns off once the key is removed from its slot near the front door. The room stayed fairly cool upon our return from exploring the area. ●LOBBY: lobby and floors/hallways have no a/c (except for some fans in the lobby). ●OTHER ROOM: I'm not a big fan of the rooms with the slanted wall/ceiling and smaller bathroom (we arrived a day sooner than our reservation, so we stayed in one of these rooms). Our reserved room was much better. We did have a/c issues (loud noise, but still slept through it), but they fixed that quickly and left us a plate of fresh fruit as a thank you for our patience. ●CONSTRUCTION: There was some construction work noise on one side, but it didn't bother us as much as it did others in the reviews. ●POOL: Super clean and never saw anyone using it - sure wish we did! ●BIKES: Free to use to explore the area! ●BREAKFAST: Simple but good. Space is limited, so be sure to go early. ●NIGHT MARKET: This hotel is in the smack center of the night market. Walk out of the lobby and right into the market. Perfect spot if you're a fan of shopping. ●VISIT: Our 2nd visit to HoiAn, and this time, we chose to stay nearby. I'm so glad we...

The bed was firm and very comfortable and the air-conditioner was quiet so we got a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was clean and everything worked well, the shower had good water pressure and was very welcome after a long hot day.|The breakfast buffet gave a selection of choices to cater for different tastes and the fresh omelettes were spot on to get the day under way. |There is a pool at the hotel which looked inviting but we didn’t use it so cannot really comment. |The reception team were amazing in their dedication to help and we will always remember them for that. The security staff were helpful, smiling and friendly.|Overall the hotel is ideally situated in the old part of Hoi An, within easy walking distance of the attractions and multiple excellent coffee shops. If we ever go back to Hoi An we will certainly stay there again and we will highly recommend...
