Nostalife — Restaurant in Hội An

I recently had the most incredible dining experience at Nostalife in Hoi An, and I can't help but sing its praises!

The food was simply unreal - each dish bursting with flavors that made my taste buds dance with joy. The vegetable curry was a standout, beautifully spiced and cooked to perfection.

The service at Nostalife was beyond commendable. I mentioned to the staff that I wasn't keen on rice and inquired about a baguette to accompany my curry. Even though it wasn't on the menu, one of the staff members didn't hesitate; and hopped on a motorbike and fetched one just for me. This level of dedication and attention to customer satisfaction is unparalleled.

Moreover, the atmosphere was uplifted by the presence of Bang, the establishment's lovely and super friendly dog. His cheerful demeanor added an extra layer of warmth to the already welcoming environment.

To sum it up, if you're looking for a place in Hoi An where the service goes above and beyond, the food is out of this world, and the ambiance is enhanced by a lovable pet, Nostalife is your spot. An unforgettable dining experience that I will cherish and recommend to...

Came here because of the reviews. It’s situated down a narrow alley way with lanterns and bright lights, we accidentally walked straight past it but there is a sign indicating where it is.

We had 2 beef pho noodle soups, 1 vegetarian spring rolls, and the stir-fried sweet cabbage with garlic and soy sauce. The beef pho was nice, the broth wasn’t as flavoursome as to what I’ve tried elsewhere and I did enjoy adding the shaved sweet green fruit (not entirely sure what it was) side that came with the chilli and herbs. The spring roll casing was delicious and crunchy but the inside was mushy which I wasn’t expecting. The real highlight for me though was the sweet cabbage side, that was so yum!! If I could have had just a bowl of that with rice and crispy pork belly, that would be me set.

Also, received a plate of watermelon, passionfruit, and jackfruit for dessert. The jackfruit was so nice, first time I’ve tried it and it’s so sweet. Enjoyed...

Step off the beaten track, take a turn away from the crowds & discover this truly fabulous place, a true taste & experience of Vietnam with a beautiful, family run business...after all, that's why you're travelling isn't it?

We first came here in 2023 as it had been recommended on YT & we found out why.

So delighted to discover it's still the same, the food remains deliciously gorgeous, excellent hygiene standards & they still take the love & care to show you how best to roll your spring roll, explain the menu to you & the beer is served super cold too!

To top it all, if you're one of the last to leave & it's not too late or busy, the family are wonderfully engaging to share aspects of their Vietnamese world with you.... a totally priceless & enriching experience.
