Came here for dinner and ordered the stir-fried beef with morning glory and garlic, a side of steamed rice and asked for an avocado smoothie.
I noticed when I sat down that the entire menu they had on google and at the restaurant itself aren't the same. Prices are higher at the restaurant and some items aren't on the menu anymore. When you open the menu plenty of items are "sold-out" as well.
The stir-fried beef was extremely oily and the bottom of the place was completely covered in oil and sauce. The taste was decent, but for the price you pay you can get something more decent elsewhere. The share oiliness of the dish actually caused some stomach issues afterwards which weren't well received.
I now also understand why they took the avocado smoothie off the menu since this was the worst smoothie I have had in Vietnam. I have ordered many smoothies all over Asia, they all make it a little different, yet this was just not it. I actually left the drink on the table and did not continue drinking it.
My experience eating here was below average of what I have been experiencing in Vietnam.
Service was kind, but nothing special or out of the ordinary.
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant especially with the amount of restaurants available in this area to choose from.
To add to that, there was a rodent around. Now I am aware this might be a thing everywhere in HCMC, but not a pleasant sight so witness when you walk in and see that running in...
Read moreI ate lunch there, it was a bit of a struggle to make myself understood that i wanted water, but thanks to huong, who was quite smart se figured it out.
The food itself was quite good too, but not all foods are equal, first the highlight the morning glory/water spinnach. It was super good, i like morning glory in general, but this has to be one of the best i ever had.
The beef was good too, but a bit too tasteless, from what vivien the other server, who spoke great english, implied the cook made it "less spicey" on purpose, what a waste; especially after such a good start with the morning glory.
The springrolls had a good taste mostly due to the tasty outside dough, the inside i did not really notice though, a bit bland i guess.
The waittime itself was a bit strange, i got the springrolls and the morning glory at the same time and only quite a bit later did the beef and a bit of rice arrive, mostly thanks to huong from what i saw who checked for my food frequently.
All in all this restaurant is worth visiting simply to try the great waterspinnach, but nothing to hold the breath over considering the other two dishes, i recommend telling the cook he should use more spice when you go there.
The atmosphere is good but really just a normal store and the aervice personell huong and vivien...

My dining experience at Hello Saigon Restaurant & Bar was an absolute delight. The tasteful dishes and welcoming ambiance made it a memorable evening. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and I was blown away by the flavors, especially the rich and flavorful broth that elevated the dish to a whole new level.
The restaurant itself has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for couples, small families, or friends looking to enjoy a quiet and relaxed meal. However, I would not recommend it for large groups of more than 15 people, as the space may not accommodate them comfortably.
The staff at Hello Saigon were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations.

From their delectable Bun Bo Hue to the warm and inviting ambiance, this restaurant has all the ingredients for a delightful dining experience. I would gladly return for another memorable...
