I wanted a good croissant so I came here. The croissant was good, flakey and buttery and the cold brew coffee was a little thick but tasted good. The food was the best part of my visit. This place is very hidden, I walked by it twice. Small entrance with an equally small sign. After I found it, walking into it wasn’t reassuring either, beautiful lush greenery but very narrow and seems like it’s not going anywhere. After turning the corner and opening the non-labeled door with no one around to greet you and up two flights of stairs then I finally saw people. The entire time walking in, I was sure someone is going to tell me they’re closed or I’m at the wrong place. I almost gave up and turned around. Wonder how many customers they’ve lost because of the odd setup. The vibe is cozy and chill with a few customers when I got there which was just before 10 am. There were plenty of space and available tables and I was told I could have my choice of any. I picked a comfortable one with a love seat and two small stools but then the waitress told me I would have to move if a bigger group shows up. Why did she tell me that I could pick any table? And the place wasn’t busy and plenty of tables around. It wasn’t necessary and just plain odd. The croissant was good but the experience just left me with...
Read moreI'm not ashamed to admit that I returned to this cafe not once, but twice, solely to try their signature avocado pastries. And let me tell you, it was worth the splurge. While the prices may be a bit steep, the quality of the pastries and drinks is truly exceptional.
The star of the show for me was the avocado crepe, which was light, airy, and packed with a generous helping of creamy avocado goodness. The choux pastry was also a highlight, with a perfectly flaky exterior giving way to a rich, buttery interior.
I was also impressed by the tiramisu, which was creamy and well-balanced with a lovely coffee flavor.
The service was good, even on a busy day. Our server was friendly and efficient, refilling our drinks and checking in on us regularly.
While I do wish the prices were a bit more reasonable, I understand that you get what you pay for. For a unique and high-quality experience like this cafe offers, I'm willing to splurge every now and then.
If you're looking for a special treat or just want to try something new, I highly recommend visiting this cafe during less busy days so you can fully appreciate what they have to offer. Trust me,...
Read morebeautiful cafe. Delicious cakes. We came around 8:15pm, and they ran out most of the cakes on the digital menu. There were only 3 items left. We ordered two items and they were delicious, especially the milicrepe.
We also ordered icecream: coconut, rum raisin and durian. Do check w the staff to see if they still have icecream in stock because the digital menu is inaccurate. My favorite flavor is coconut.
——/update/—— We came back in less than 1 week, which is very rare for us. This time we came early at 7pm and ordered a minicake called Sen, a plain croissant, an avocado croissant, a wild cherry icecream w waffles, 2 thot not milk teas and 1 trai coc and quyt tea. They were all so delicious. My least favorite is probably waffles (too crunchy and taste more like cookie than regular waffles). The Thot Not milk tea was sooo good. Just the right amount of sweetness. The croissants were also so delicious especially the one w avocado icecream. I feel like I was enjoying pastries in a bakery in the middle of Paris. so thankful to find a this place in Saigon. I would give it 10...
