The WORST dinning experience in the city. If you expected to be treated rudely, this resto is FOR YOU. The six of us were sitting at the table that was the closest to the stairs also to the speaker. The music was playing loudly that could hardly listen to each other so the one of us ordered everything so not to "shout" as we ordered. Then the waitress was being super annoyed and showing the RUDEST face that I've ever seen. As we were not local and did not speak Vietnamese, I pointed to the menu on the item we were going to order. And the waitress said "so that's number 5 item you ordered", meaning the we ordered 5 dishes lol. Due to the loud noise, I could barely listen to what she said and I said "sorry?", she were like " so that means you order xxxxx, xxxx, xxxx, and xxxx, " with a very mean tone, so I said yes. Then I closed the menu, and she insisted to flip it again and said rudely, "PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDER CAREFULLY", as if I don't understand English or whatsoever. So I replied, yes I can understand you. And that ended the ordering. I don't see why she was being so annoyed and the thing I can think of is, she doesn't like tourists, and especially treating Asiaians like that, given that Le Loi Street is a popular tourist attraction.
Food: frankly, good for photos, but tasted fair. Way more better choices in HCM.
I won't ever recommend to for food, photos nor the service. It was a really negative breakfast experience to...
Read moreDecided to visit this place again after boycotting it years ago, sadly not much has changed. The food while edible was not good. I had the large breakfast platter and most of the food tasted like it was microwaved. The beans looked like it came out of a can, caramelized onions made days earlier, sausage frozen and microwaved to death, bacon over cooked in some parts and undercooked in others. The eggs seemed to be the only thing freshly cooked. Service of the staff in the cafe was OK, however the staff in the store was borderline rude. Followed me around the store without asking if I needed help, even though it was obvious I dined in their cafe. Just looked at me struggling with my stroller without offering to help with the door.
In a city full of wonderful restaurants and great attentive service, I don’t get why people still...
Read moreThis was the 2nd L’Usine branch we visited while in Vietnam. We loved Le Loi as much as Le Thanh Ton. 💛 We only ordered drinks and fries to share here because we only wanted to quench our thirst but we enjoyed our stay here. My sister ordered lychee iced tea, her boyfriend got a blueberry lime milk crush and I had ‘cool as a cucumber’. Each was unique and we loved what we ordered but what we most liked about this branch was the straws they used, which looked and felt like a grass straw. We didn’t get to ask the staff but we were quite sure the straws were made of environment-friendly materials.
My sister bought a L’Usine tote here and she loves it. 💓
When we go back, we’ll definitely visit the other 2 branches. ☺️👍🏻
Also, forgot to mention in my Le Thanh Ton review that we loved their...
