Snug Pub in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, has become one of my favorite places to unwind after visiting it on two occasions. Each visit offered something unique, but the consistent highlights were the friendly and welcoming ladies who work there. Their warm demeanor made the atmosphere even more enjoyable and added a personal touch that’s hard to find elsewhere.

What I loved most was discovering the second floor. It's like stepping into a more intimate and relaxed space. The seating there is incredibly comfortable, and it feels like a perfect spot to truly settle in and enjoy the vibe. The music on the second floor is another big plus—it sets just the right mood without being overpowering.

On one visit, I remember chatting with one of the staff members who recommended a drink that I wouldn’t have picked myself, but it ended up being a great choice. On another occasion, I spent the evening on the second floor, soaking in the music while enjoying the laid-back ambiance with the company of the ladies there. Those moments made Snug Pub feel like more than just another bar—it felt like a place where I could genuinely relax and have a good time.

The good is I didn't get scammed and all prices were as advertised. Some reviews had me worried. The bad is 2 girls follow me to a seat both wanting drinks. Neither were friendly at all. Second girl gulps it down quick and leaves. The hostess still there was as cold as ice. The most interesting thing was showing me razor sharp nails. First time in the 4 months I've been in HCMC I didn't tip. I did tip the bartender though. I know many were friendly as I witnessed around me. I don't even know how she followed me, I never saw her at the door.

It could be a good time for you, guess I was just unlucky. I know I would have stayed longer and spent more but wasn't fun, and I told her that too.

To the owner, if one greets you outside then have them stick around. Not switch when you walk in. Seems sketchy

The other was so cold I asked her to just let me drink. When we left, the original girl outside told me that the girl who followed me was not friendly. She was very nice and the hostess that was with my friend was very nice. The bartender was very nice. I get it that they made commission on drinks but with the cold attitudes it benefits nobody....
