Hands down the worst place we have stayed so far. We had 3 guests arriving at different times for a 2 bedroom place, but I had to check in for us all because the office closes at 5pm (what about people with normal working hours? The elevator buttons had been smashed, the lobby hadn't been cleaned and one of the doors was smashed. When I got to the room it reeked of bleach, they had a smart tv even though the room had no wifi - they advertise wifi for the reception which is pointless. There were exposed power points, no fans or aircon in any of the bedrooms, the blankets were very thin with no option for warmer ones either, our fire alarm was also beeping nonstop so wasn't checked for new batteries (admittedly not something we would check out of the blue either, but it would beep every few minutes so they would've realised when cleaning the room) - and this was all on top of very rude staff. They gave us 2 swiper cards for the car park but only one had a key for the room attached, which we had never seen before or noticed so we ended up locked out of our room after meeting the other guests at reception and they were going to try charge us $100 to get back in because it's after office hours, and the woman very hesitantly gave us 5 minutes to take cash out to give her 50 instead (the normal price - which we were still unhappy about given only one of our swipers came with a key despite the room being for 4 guests). The reception staff was rude and had problems with the couple in front on me at check in as well, the only saving grace was their (manager?) Jackie who was incredibly helpful and kind. If it weren't for him this place would be closed by now!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Lived in the complex for over 2 years, in 2 different apartments. When it was time for me to move again, I had to take another apartment in the building as a last resort due to being rejected for everything I applied for. When I moved in to F block, I noticed a horrible smell immediately when opening the door. It didn't take me long to realise that this apartment posed a serious health risk. The cockroach infestation is NEXT LEVEL, and the apartment is covered in black airborne mould. I had to clean the hard surfaces 5 times, but they kept getting sticky due to the mould. The carpet was sticky too, and my feet were pitch black after about 3 hours of walking on them. After doing research, it seems this has been an ongoing issue with ground floor units for years, and they do nothing to fix it, they only up the price of rent. I was there for 12 days in an absolute nightmare before I had to make the decision to move out and be homeless rather than risk my health in a mouldy apartment. Besides the major issues with these overpriced apartments, the place is falling apart. There is an elevator near c block that hasn't worked for the whole time I lived there, the body corporate and management dont do anything at all to fix issues. The property manager is a decent guy but doesn't respond to emails when you need him to, and certainly doesn't prioritise emergencies like this, which is why I'm now homeless.

Was probably very nice at one time but now looks shabby, dirty and unkempt. The pool area which is probably the main draw for these apartments is just vile. Bird mess covers everything, the pool is filthy and I personally wouldn't swim in it and definitely wouldn't let children in and the bbq kitchens don't look as if they are working and if they are look like death traps It's such a shame because the apartment blocks are situated in a great spot in the heart of Fortitude Valley and the apartment we hired was fabulous but it was my apartment I would be having some serious conversations with the body corporate

WARNING READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING!!!My girlfriend booked a room at this place for my birthday, a 2 bedroom appartment at cathedral place in the city. When we got there, check in was super quick and then we got up to our room at around 4pm 8th of June. We walked into the room to find that it was an unfinished renovation flat. -The fridge was brand new and had plastic wrapped shelves which should of been taken out and setup so I could use it.-The microwave was out sitting on the bench not plugged in- Dirty bench tops everywhere covered in this black dirt pieces -Dirty floors, foot prints from workers left inside and out.-No light bulbs in lights-Bathroom was not cleaned, as a Dove soap bottle was still in our shower.- dirt and leaves all over the balcony and room floors, which Jackie told us came from the guys setting it all up. Which he believes justifies why it's not clean for our stay.- This was the first hotel I've had to supply my own toliet paper because our bathroom hadnt been cleaned and reset we only had a quarter roll for 4 people.- We were told that because we got offered some extra time to sleep in this unfinished renovation flat that it would be enough for the inconvenience of paying over $200 to stay in a mess for my birthday. What I find odd is that all this was is a mistake on the hotels behalf. My room wasn't cleaned and they wont simply own up to the fact they didn't provide the service I paid for, my room wasn't setup.I have video and photos I need to upload and I'm taking this further.Jackie told me he would email me and he didn't so I called up and he finally emailed me back which I'll also attach to this so you can all see how these people operate.Avoid this place, Unless you want an dirty room and bad customer service. They offered us 50% off our next stay as compensation, I don't accept this and I want a full refund because we paid in good faith that we would receive a clean fully functional room. Not a place that is currently being renovated left in a mess.Jackie who is the acting manager, declined to let me speak to the actual manager after he tried to explain that our room being messy and unpacked was ok because...

You know you're hotel experience is going to be less than 1 star when your first action upon getting to your room is cleaning. This is made difficult when you are given no cleaning products. The kitchen floor being sticky was very disconcerting. The location is almost the only reason to stay here and I would definately say go somewhere else. Whatever pluses there are are offset by a staggering amount of problems. During my first 2 hours, 3 hotel occupants and a permanent resident all informed me of how unhelpful and apathetic the staff were, (with one couple having to wait 3 hours for their "organized" after hours check in). The hotel itself is in terrible shape, very rundown in some areas (e.g. lift button panels half falling off, sliding wardrobe doors needing to be lifted open, powerpoints not working, etc) and despite the hotels claims, they did not provide any cleaning agents even after complaining and being assured that they would be provided eventually. Every query and complaint to staff was met by a reply similar to "that is "another" departments area. We will let them know for you" followed by zero action. The pool was one of the only high points but was mitigated by the deplorable condition of the sauna. A situation I watched left me dumbfounded as a resident could not retrieve her car from the carpark due to a payment machine fault. With the price of her stay increasing and after a long wait, a staff member tried calling someone once, got no reply and proceeded to tell the resident there was nothing she could do before leaving. I have also had a letter put under my door explaining that due to my apparently repeated ignoring of origin energy's letters, my hot water is being cut off. Not the most fun thing to deal with halfway through a holiday. Attached is a photo of what happened when I wiped a wet sponge across the floor and compared to...

The good stuff: Brilliant location (right next to Fortitude Valley), fairly cheap price The bad stuff: Female staff member on reception (at about 1pm on Sunday 8th March) was extremely unhelpful and acted like a robot (no interpersonal skills whatsoever). Both the common areas of the hotel and the room were dirty; there was a massive puddle of water (slip hazard) at the bottom of one of the stairwells on the mezzanine, we saw several pieces of rubbish left around the foyer, including a bottle of orange juice in the middle of the mezzanine floor and a half empty bottle of Corona on a book shelf. Room was very below average; TV was not tuned and could not be tuned due to poor reception (despite being in inner city Brisbane), there was only one air con remote for the entire unit, despite there being two aircon wall units (strangely, the main bedroom with ensuite didn't have an aircon wall unit, the 2nd bed and the lounge had the aircon units, had to leave main bedroom door open in order to feel aircon from front room aircon wall unit), bedsheets were dirty (brown stain on supposedly fresh sheets), room not cleaned properly (found a dirty childs balloon in the middle of the lounge floor after we walked in, a pair of earrings on a window sill from a previous occupant), very insecure door lock (only had a basic bathroom style door button lock with a key on the other side, no ability to bolt the door or anything), damaged furniture (including a bedside lamp which was hanging apart and which wasn't even plugged in behind the bed).

Basically, this place NEEDS a massive renovation, and the staff (both admin/customer service and cleaning) need to be trained better. This place, with its location and existing facilities (pool etc) could be amazing if it was just staffed better, cleaned better, and if the rooms were in...
