Patel Spice BAZAR — Local services in Gold Coast City

We went to get fresh sweets for Rakshabandhan. Had called up beforehand as we needed fresh kaju katli and no other Indian stores in Gold Coast had it. I got half a kg kaju katli and a pack of besan laddoo. The kaju katli are still so fresh and soft and great quality after a week. The besan laddoos are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Pure ghee made and no mix of flours like a lot of places put suji. I think brand was GRB besan laddoo. I'm gonna buy these besan lasdoo every month i think. They were just delicious. In fact now I'm writing this it makes me wanna have one, i just might 😂 Love it, location is absolutely central and close to our place in Surfers Paradise. Parking could be a challenge cz it's all street parking. I get fortune basmati 5kg pack from here at $14 which also is really convenient cz it's difficult to find the same groceries...

I love Indian sweets as have had yummy ones in Brisbane and lots of times in England. I was happy when I saw ladoos.. 3 different types. So I got 1 of each. UNfORTUNATELY.. they were horrible because I think they had run over the use by date and shop still selling them These sweets were dry and hard and could not bite into them easily. So had to throw them out. I DONT THINK THEY SHOULD BE SELLING DRY AND HARD sweets which also...

Very disappointed with the experience, it’s really not acceptable to not check the expiration dates and keep them for sale. We purchase believing that everything is checked when you guys keep it on the shelf, not always we as customers have enough time to check the dates while we buy, that’s your duty to check them. After tasting them we realised that it’s out of date, and it’s not just 1 or 2 days but 2 weeks old...
