2Zing! Cafe — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

We travelled from Sydney to the Gold Coast for a relaxing weekend away and rented an AirBnB which has a key collection point next to the entrance of this cafe. We were in front of the box about to collect the keys and we have been verbally attacked by an extremely rude middle aged man. He told us to move as we were "too close" to one of the cafe tables where a couple of patrons were sitting. For a person working in hospitality he should brush up his communication skills also considering we were about to sit and spend our cash at the cafe. We certainly will NEVER go there during our stay here in the area. Also if the proximity of tables to the key box is an issue he should consider not placing the table too close to the box as it would be inevitable for anyone to be "too close". Also no wonder the place was completely empty, the customer service skills were appalling and we haven't even been...

I've been coming here for years for breakfast and coffee. Their food is original home cooked and absolutely fantastic. It's a tucked away secret that I will always make the effort to come back to.

The owners are super friendly, down to earth people who just want the best for their customer, not the best google rating or Michelin star winning dish.

If you're reading this far into the review, I want to also highlight that these guys are not a commercial cafe like what you see down the road in Cavill Ave. They don't have 5 wait staff 2 baristas and a chef, just the two of them running the show.

Slow down your expectations or go down the road if you want restaurant dining waiters, but park it right here for a rare opportunity to be served fantastic food by...

Me and my partner were staying at the hotel nearby and saw this cute cafe and decided to have breakfast. We both ordered the omelette with our choice of toppings. When it came out it was a great portion for the price, eyes were definitely bigger than our tummy’s 🤭 the owners were lovely and when we returned the next morning before our flight home (we again ordered the omelette but this time we decided to share) they were a little busy yet still gave great customer service. Had a lovely chat and they even served our food in half and on two plates so we could share.

Overall the food was delicious, service was great (had a great family vibe and felt caring like parents to us) and the price was good. Definitely will be coming back whenever we visit...
