At first the location, building and reception looked great. Just stayed 6 nights and it was a terrible experience for my wife, 10 months old baby and I. The first 2 days we discovered that the air-conditioning in the lounge area was broken and doesn't swing or adjust which meant the room wasn't being cooled properly. Followed by 3 days straight were the lights kept going out, resulting to dark showers and nappy changes. They figured out on the third day that the laundry fan was tripping the electricity and they replaced it. We request a high chair, charged $10 per day which arrived on the second day. It was disgusting, rusted and not properly cleaned. The straps had moulding and food puree around the clips from previous guests. THE WORST PART OF IT ALL - from day 2 to 6 the bathroom had sewer problems and it stunk up the whole room. Everytime we came back we were dry retching and gagging. Completely unhealthy, unhygienic and definitely a health risk to ourselves and our first born baby. On day 4, maintenance arrived and "flushed" all drains with the shower hose and sprayed deodoriser which only resolved the issue for maybe 30 mins. Nothing was done by management, staff or reception. No follow up, no upgrade and not even an offer to locate to another room. Completely disappointed considering we have all struggled the last 18 months from covid-19 and floods. This accommodation was definitely not worth the dollars spent. Despite the room having great views, you can't really enjoy your stay with a putrid sewerage smell. The meriton is building infront of them so they will lose water views soon. On check out and during our stay we spoke to Monica and Teagen who were lovely and always seemed surprised by the issues. Unfortunately they never followed up and expected the maintenance guys to have resolved the isses. We were handed a piece of paper with an email on check out to write a complaint. I think this review will go further than an email. Very disappointed - book your holiday somewhere else.

I’d stayed in One-bedroom Apartment with Ocean View (No housekeeping service) for 5 nights, which cost like $280 per night and there would be a $100 bond charge on your credit or debit card. The concierge service was so good that you could store your luggage here before checking in or after checking out waiting for your flight. In addition, you could also ask for their amenities such as bin liners, toilet papers and soaps for free, shampoo, conditioner laundry & dish detergent for $1 at the reception; you might need extra soap, laundry & dish detergent if you stay for a longer period. I did request for a room on higher floor and was luckily arranged to the suite on level 32. The landscape is absolutely stunning, exhilarating, panoramic, and of great value; you can see through most part of the northern Gold Coast clearly and some ocean and beach to the east. Furthermore, if you are unfortunate enough to get arranged at lower levels, no need to worry because there’s a barbecue rooftop deck on 41st floor that any residents can come; you can see like the entire coastline of Gold Coast from north to south and even a few stars in the sky at night if there are barely clouds. Moreover, it’s quite convenient that there’s an EzyGrocer and a restaurant on the ground floor of the building. The G link light rail station Surfers Paradise North is just cross the road but crossing the Y-shaped intersection is a bit cheesy since all the roads are wide and there’s no zebra crossing but sometimes cars just keep coming. To top it all off, I’d passed here for a few times when coming to Gold Coast and this high rise resort caught my eye. I’ve stayed in 10 different hotels in Gold Coast and this turns out to be the top 3 of all of these. The price per night is below average for its stunning view, amenities and quality, which is definitely worth a stay if you come to Surfers Paradise. Overall, it’s a 9.8 out of 10!

Rhapsody Resort Gold Coast is an exceptional destination that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the impressive new building and its modern design. The staff at the resort are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing a memorable experience for every guest. One of the standout features of this resort is its prime location right in front of the ocean. Waking up to breathtaking views of the sea was a delight every single day. But what truly took my breath away were the two rooftop areas offering panoramic vistas of the entire city. Watching the sunset from there was an experience I'll cherish forever. The rooms at Rhapsody Resort are simply outstanding. They are not only modern and stylish but also impeccably clean. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings is evident, making me feel like I was staying in a luxurious five-star hotel. The rooms are equipped with all the amenities one could possibly need, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. Beyond the aesthetics, the resort truly shines in its service. The staff's dedication to ensuring the guests' satisfaction is commendable. From helpful recommendations for local attractions to going above and beyond to accommodate any special requests, the team at Rhapsody Resort made me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. In conclusion, Rhapsody Resort Gold Coast is a gem among resorts. Its stunning new building, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and unbeatable location in front of the ocean set it apart from the rest. The two rooftop areas with breathtaking city views, modern and clean rooms with top-notch amenities, and exceptional service make this resort a true five-star experience. I can't wait to return and create more lasting memories at Rhapsody Resort.

It is a fantastic place - good location near the beach, 15min walk to restaurants, nice room with good ocean views, nice facilities like swimming pool, spa, steam & sauna bath etc. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay except for the 2 avoidable inconveniences: (1) didn’t find the housekeeping up to the mark at all. The only thing they did seemed to be to replenish the toiletries. Didn’t even leave an extra toilet roll. No towels replaced, no bathroom cleaning etc.(2) Most annoying checkout experience - All the good vibe we had otherwise during our 3-night stay was lost after this. My wife & I took our luggage (around 9.50am) from our room on L37 down to B3 where our car was. We loaded the car with most luggage & I took the car out to the road. Plan was for my wife to go back up to our room on level 37, have a final check, empty the bins & come down with just a couple of small things we had in the room. She had so much of difficulty to get a lift back from B3-L37 (too busy with checkouts, house keeping crew & long term residents morning usage) & when she reached the access card would no longer work (as it was past 10am as we came to know later). She again had to wait for 5-10mins for the lift, went down to reception, got the access card enabled & took the lift back to the room (after another 5-10min wait for lift). In the meantime I was panicking as it was taking too long. So I parked the car outside, went up to the room looking for my wife (couldn’t talk as she had left her mobile in the room) when I had the same experience - waiting forever for the lift, finding my card wasn’t working at the room, coming down to reception & then going back up again. I got a call from my wife finally from the room (while I was in the lift going up) as she just managed to get back in. I too reached the room & then we both went through same ritual (another 10 min wait for lift) before we finally reached the reception to handover our access cards & complete checkout. We did express our displeasure there with the card being disabled at sharp 10am but she just said that is how the system works. We told her we should have been advised of the same at check in. It took us 30-40 mins more to finally leave the building than the 5mins or so after 10am it would have taken us if the access wasn’t disabled. We found others too in the lift having similar issues. It is not the best experience to be locked out w/o being advised of same beforehand (say, at check in). These 2 things completely spoilt what would have otherwise been a...

Do you want a quieter location but still easy minute access into the busier side of surfers? Do you want a beachfront location with stunning ocean views? Look no further than the Rhapsody apartment hotel!

I booked this on a whim a year ago and I haven't looked back! This is our second stay at this prim located hotel 550m north of Cavill at the end of surfers paradise beach and the beginning of Main beach in a stretch of coast called narrow neck. It has a tram stop right out front so if the 10 minute stroll along the board walk to surfers puts you off then the 50cent tram (2 short stops from Cavill) makes up for it. It is also a 10 minute walk or 1 tram stop away from main beaches popular way street and shopping area tedder ave. The hotel is a beach front property boasting full glass floor to ceiling views of the main beach on its northern side if you purchase an ocean view apartment in this orientation. The rooms are modern, super clean and have all the mod cons of a modern apartment including a full working kitchenette and laundry. These ocean view rooms have fantastic balconies perfect for relaxing while checking the surf. These are one bedroom spacious apartments. The hotel also has a lovely but smaller pool area with spa, sauna and steam room. In site secure parking is free and is located underneath. The top floor (41) has a panoramic relaxing bbq area which we made the most of for lunch and afternoon drinking. There is no bar onsite so byo needed. There is also a wonderful cafe/fully licensed restaurant on the ground floor.

The only downside to this hotel is a massive 77 storey mertiin is going up directly out the front. Meaning the two bedroom units on this orientation will no longer have this stunning view in a few years nor will the units on the southern side. This is a few years away from completion at the time of this writing however. The ocean view units of the northern side still should keep them fabulous view.

Beautiful part of the beach stroll you want a quieter...
