Consulate General of India — Local services in Perth

I do really appreciate consulate general of India... specially a gentleman called Rajesh. He really helped me to get urgent new passport as my old passport was stolen in house robbery. I had some urgent thing back home in India. I couldn’t book tickets for travel as my passport was stolen but I was glad when I received my new passport.

He was really polite and cooperative. I completely understand they are so busy daily but considering my experience I think they do priorities application depending on urgency and help you to get urgent passport if there is a real emergency. I have so much respect for them...

I happen to meet Vice Consul Mr. Rajesh Kumar Bhati at a time when Covid was at its peak. My cousin and her husband was held here and the demise of her father in India shook us. After flying out of Perth and held at Singapore it was Mr. Rajesh and his team of highly dedicated officers from Perth to Singapore to Canberra help her return to Perth and fly back to India. The team that wiped the tears of many unknown faces needs the highest appreciation. The warmth of India can be felt at the Consulate office not forgetting VFS. Really bad experience here.It’s too hard to find parking in city.Finally found the parking ,long distance from place ,pay the ticket,walk longer.When u reach there at 1 pm .There Is telephone ☎️ asking call this number to get this service etc etc. and also mentioned from 1 pm to 2 pm we r not available. ** off.Why u guys don’t mention on ur website ,’we r not available during this time…’Life is too busy in foreign countries, u guys still getting this kind of long breaks.no stress regarding customer service,no value of time...
