Read moreEven during covid lockdown, the regulars are still flocking to this popular farmer's market on Saturday morning. With partner, families and their dogs. Hardly any social distancing, but people are wearing masks and QR checkin enforced to certain degree. I see this as how it will keep going as we live with Covid. Mask wearing outside of your home, and business as usual. Although currently onsite food and drinks consumption is banned. So it doesn't give anyone excuses to remove their mask and walk around without social distancing.
Besides that, what I always love about this place are the two florist on each end of the market. Amazing display of seasonal flowers with native plants. Then there are the vegetables stall. Conventional and organic farmers. People are always queueing up for them. I particularly like the Japanese man selling Miso, the people selling lots of different mushrooms, and there was a stall that sells food vegetables plants you can take home to plant and grow your own food.
I like it more now that there are less people coming, as I can finally have less of an issue...
