Sydney Kayak Experience — Attraction in Sydney

This was my first time kayaking in the Sydney Harbour and WOW was it an amazing experience! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

As you arrive, you will place your belongings into their van for safe keeping and then check-in to get your life jacket on. It’s pitch black as you walk over to the kayaks nicely lined up with their bright neon blue lights. The team will get your foot pedals in the right position and give you a clear and informative safety talk and talk down. What was nice about this experience versus other kayak excursions I’ve done in the past is that you will load your kayak on the ramp and the team will guide it into the water after you are settled.

The water turned into glitter as the sun inched up into the sky. As we made our way to the Opera House and the bridge, each group got a photo taken by the Sydney Kayak Experience team in front of both landmarks. The perfect keepsake to remember this sunrise excursion.

After the tour concluded, we enjoyed a coffee and breakfast at the cafe. Truly this was the perfect to start the morning 🤩

Highly recommend… A waterproof phone case so you can capture memories without worry you might lose or ruin your phone. Leggings & long sleeve outfit you don’t mind getting wet A change of clothes (and shoes)

Celebrated our anniversary by doing a sunrise kayak with Sydney Kayak Experience, and so glad we went with them!

🌞 The whole session was super organised and well run! We were super impressed. From 4:30am, guides were immediately getting everyone into their safety jackets. Once we were in the water, guides were super clear and even beginner kayakers had no problems!

🛶 Kayaks and paddles well maintained. They were all lined up neatly before we started and we could see them cleaning them up as we were having our coffees in the cafe.

📸 If you want content for your socials, these guys know what’s up! The photo session at Lavender Bay gets you the best view of the bridge and Opera House behind you, and then they’ll also share a video that they’ve expertly put together with moments of everyone.

👱🏻‍♀️🧑🏻‍🦰👱🏻👦🏻 The friendliest team made the morning so enjoyable! Knowledgeable and patient. They all helped us in and out of the kayaks, took photos for us, spoke to us throughout and one guide, Adrian, even noted down all our names!

An Unforgettable Vivid Sydney Night with Sydney Kayak Experience!

Peter and the team at Sydney Kayak Experience delivered an absolutely magical evening for my Fiancé and I on the water during Vivid Sydney! From the moment we arrived, everything was well-organized and welcoming. The team were friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do.

Paddling through the harbor at night, surrounded by the dazzling lights of Vivid, was nothing short of surreal. The illuminated skyline, reflections dancing on the water, and the peaceful glide of the kayak made it feel like we were part of the art installation. It was a unique perspective of Sydney that you simply cannot get on land.

Peter hand the team were fantastic guides —knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable regardless of experience level. The whole experience was smooth, fun, and full of wonder. If you’re looking for a special way to enjoy Vivid, I can’t recommend this enough.
