On my return from the top I wasn’t allowed on the funicular with the ticket. It’s very difficult to travel between the top of the funicular and alpenzoo so I had a long walk down. It made me feel like it was a scam to force people to buy another ticket but it is at least very unclear. Otherwise, it all went smoothly and the staff were professional and friendly. The hikes from the top were enjoyable even on a cloudy day.
