Hello tourists and expats! This is a great place to see and buy great fruits and vegetables straight from the farm. There are lots of large booths selling everything from parsley to gigantic cabbages! Everything fresh and very inexpensive. Fun to shop here or just marvel at the 3’ long butternut squash! Love this place!

Beautiful market!!! All the farmers here are super friendly, and it was an experience trying to talk to them in Bulgarian. Produce were really fresh (most of the time, but of course, there are always some “bad apples”), and prices are cheaper than the supermarkets. Overall, it was such an amazing experience! 😊

It is nice to have such a place in the center of Plovdiv. Diverse natural food and flowers in a quite clean and tidy market. Maybe prices aren't the most economic but the quality of the vegetables, fruits and legumes are worthy (plus it is always good to support the local producers buying from them).

It is an experience for tourists. Be aware that most of the people at the market don't speak English at all. However, it is worth a visit, since you can find great spices, herbs for cooking and infusions, homemade jam and marmalade as well as nuts and dried foods. Prices are good, mostly better than local supermarkets. Quality varies wide, so you can find both high-quality fresh products as well as very cheap but not...

The best market in town.

Shopping here ever since I was little kid. Fresh produce from local farmers. It has great value and you always receive great quality.

If you need the best fresh seasonal fruits and veggies, this is the right spot.

Outside you can also wash your merchendice and consume it on the spot. Just take some salt mixture (or samardala) and dip a cucumber directly in it.

Market for fruits, vegetables and flowers. In the old days was only on Thursdays that is why called like this but nowadays works everyday. The products are from farmers in the region that is why they are always very fresh. The flowers are sold 7/24 but the rest of the market closes. Around there are butcher's, boulangeries, groceries, pharmacy and street food...
