A stunning trail near Banff! The views are incredible, and it’s so conveniently close to town. We went around 3 pm, and the sun wasn’t too strong, making it perfect for hiking. If you’d like softer light and an even more picturesque experience, I’d recommend going in the morning!

The trail is obvious and easy to follow and you are rewarded with amazing views of Banff and the surrounding valley. There's elevation gain for most of the trail up so take time to look down and enjoy the view if you need to catch your breath.

Easy enough hike for me (active <30yo) but would say it's moderate since my mom took had more trouble on uphill portions. Views of the valley were amazing and liked the red chairs at the top too! No restroom facilities at top FYI
