Omg! What a fun market. I love that it's in a space that used to be outside between old buildings but has been enclosed and now it's inside, so it looks cool and funky. Notable vendors: Mediocre Bakery (ironic name because they are far from mediocre) loved their buns. Helene Cookies, their strawberry nougat is so unique and delicious. 175 Chicken, these guys stole the show with their Coffee Fried Chicken. Sounds weird, I know, but chicken marinated in coffee then deep fried is delicious. Especially with their salted caramel dip. Mind blown. Lol. Only open Saturdays from 8am-2pm.

We picked this one (instead of the one closer to the hotel) because we felt this building maybe more photogenic😂 Loved the vibe and learning about the history of the building as we strolled through the different stalls. Brought home with us hand made nuts and organic cookies as souvenir. We also bought bread and grabbed a takeout coffee for breakfast. This is a must go if you happen to visit Halifax on a Saturday morning!

What a delight! We ate some very authentic Japanese gohan and sushi rolls, and bought lovely Korean kimchi (glutenfree!) and some awesomely creative chocolate from Gabrielle. Cafe latte from "Laughing whale" was very decent it paired well with the chocolate we bought. Perfect way to start our Saturday. Halifax visitors, don't miss the opportunity to experience local food and creative side of Nova Scotia. This market is a perfect place to meet local artisans and producers. Visiting Brewery market was definitely aone of the highlights...
